Oooh - Scotts of Stow used to sell resin Fairy Doors to put on a tree trunk.

Maybe the idea could be used to make a door in the wall by the fireplace or front door?
Cute idea, shame my DC are too old , but we did do a Santa Key last year (old large key from eBay, gold paint, ribbon, glitter)

How old are your children x

By Christmas DS will be 15yo, DD will be 12.6yo, so though they enjoy Christmas and will carry on with some of our Traditions (to keep me quiet ) they are too old for alot of the things that you can do with smaller DC.

Yeah I'm trying to get the most out of my youngest daughter aged 11, though now get to do it again with my grandson x
