I don't know if we already have a thread like this, but in my attempt to organise Christmas I was thinking we should have a pale where we can let others know if Christmas stock has come in.

I often end up missing it and then find it has been pillaged by the likes of you lot savvy shoppers before I've even thought about going.

So if you spot new christmas stock online or in-store, alert the thread.

forcookssake · 09/09/2014 16:24

What I'm really after knowing is when COSTCO have their big, rigid boxes of (12 or 13) decorated glass baubles...:D

lk26 · 09/09/2014 16:27

Was in Costco yesterday and they only had in the Xmas ribbons and a giant bauble wreath. Now need to go back next month !

forcookssake · 09/09/2014 16:43

That's really helpful, thanks lk26 Thanks

A Tesco in Essex I visited today had half an aisle (one side) of christmas stuff.

Mini panettones, including chocolate chip ones were on buy one get one free.

Quite a few christmas cakes, puddings, mince pies and chocolates.

I ate my first cadbury's snowman of the year.

Matalan's online christmas shop goes live Friday....

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 09/09/2014 21:02

Ooh yes the Costco glass baubles. I buy a box every year, they're lovely aren't they Smile

They weren't in our nearest one (we went on Sunday)

nickdrakeslovechild · 10/09/2014 20:47

The Range have the Christmas shop open today. Looked like they had just finished putting it out tonight. B&M had cards and wrapping out with the Halloween bits.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 10/09/2014 22:51

Grin I remember last year, in The Range (just after the DC went back to school ) the tannoy sounded out
" Can Derek please go to The Christmas Department, Customer waiting "

And all the shoppers turned to each other and mouthed CHRISTMAS Department it's September Shock

Ha- the unprepared !

Alert! John Lewis & Selfridges Christmas Stock is LIVE.

hetty74 · 12/09/2014 18:45

Blimey , there's a lot showing as out of stock on John Lewis . Do you think this is because it's early or the stuff has already sold out ? Thought I was being organised as well !

everydayaschoolday · 12/09/2014 20:16

I was in B&M today. An isle of christmas decs, cards, wrap, money wallets, gift tags etc. In addition to the Christmas isle, there were lots of toy options (big box items). There was shedloads of Frozen merchandise: fleece blanket, lunch bag, cushion, colour your own handbag, Memory (matching cards) game etc and lots more Frozen stuff I didn't buy (a stamper/sticker set springs to mind). Also got lots of minions stuff (Despicable Me 2) and Peppa Pig playsets were all cheaper than the current ToysRUs sale (I googled on my phone while instore to check prices). I was in heaven…. Wink Happy to divulge prices I paid if anyone wants for comparison.

HoldMeCloserTonyDanza · 12/09/2014 23:35

It's just because it's early!

WhereYouLeftIt · 16/09/2014 12:14

My local Sainsbury's has started to stock some chocolate Santas and the like - not enough to really look like much though.

Also, Matalan have got a whole Christmas section on their website. Vouchercodes advertised a 20% off code for them today, valid until 21st September.

Kelly281 · 16/09/2014 12:54

Costco in Aberdeen have got quite a bit of their Christmas stock out. Lots of toys and gifts. I'm going to have to go back without DD to see what I can pick-up.

MamaPain · 16/09/2014 12:59

Ocado have really expanded their christmas shop

Thorntons were getting out their Christmas treats on Saturday - the staff had even put on Christmas tops in honour of the occasion!

JuanFernandezTitTyrant · 16/09/2014 13:47

I bought Woodland Christmaswinter bedding in Primark today. DH is going to kill me Grin

MamaPain · 16/09/2014 13:52

ooh Juan, can you post a picture, I can't get out to the shops much at the moment I'd love to see it.

PureMorning · 16/09/2014 14:12

Home bargains had two Christmas aisles out today!

Itvwas full of other weirdos like me buying Christmas baking tins and cards

JuanFernandezTitTyrant · 16/09/2014 14:38

Here it is MamaPain - I chose this rather than the red and white proper Christmassy one or the red white and blue scandi one on the basis that DH would be more likely to accept it! Not sure if you can see it's got grey on the reverse.
