Report When Shops Get Christmas Stock In/Christmas Shops Open

I don't know if we already have a thread like this, but in my attempt to organise Christmas I was thinking we should have a pale where we can let others know if Christmas stock has come in.

I often end up missing it and then find it has been pillaged by the likes of you lot savvy shoppers before I've even thought about going.

So if you spot new christmas stock online or in-store, alert the thread.

The Primark duvets aren't very chrismassy imo. More winter themed. They are nice though x

Had an email from Starbucks today saying that the Pumpkin Spiced Latte will be available soon/now. Not the entire christmas collection but thought it might perk up a fellow winter flavour lover.

The Primark bedding is more winter than Christmas but it means you can start using on December 1st and carry on after Christmas. IIRC we kept ours (Nordic duvet cover and Primark flannel tiny reindeer) til February at least .
(I did wash it) Grin

I can put one of their Christmas fleeces on in the week before Christmas.

I was in HomeSense last week and bought a load of Woodwick Christmas candles. I get loads of Christmas stuff there but usually before their main display arrives. Unfortunately that's how the best stuff tends to work there.

I drive past ours every Thursday so I pop in each week.

Superdrug had lots of its gift sets out on Thursday and also has lots of its stock on the website. I can't wait, even though I'll be working on Christmas Day!

Selection boxes & chocolate Santas in Tesco. I won't make the same mistake as last year, buying them at half price & then scoffing the lot myself...

Dunelm Mill had Christmas fleece blankets and embroidered towels in yesterday, as well as the Christmas animated toys that DS somebody set off. A very cute knitted 50th anniversary Rudolph too.

Popped into Tesco earlier this week and there was an aisle filled with chocolate and mince pies. Didn't check the dates though.

My local Tesco Extra has an aisle with banners saying 'Early Bird' on and a picture of a robin in a party hat Smile They've got loads on BOGOF including Finest Christmas puddings - the BB date is March 2016 so have stocked up! Still have one from last year which is BB March 2015, might have it with cream later... Anyway they're £1.50 for two and they're delicious. Lots of other BOGOFs with long dates, too - biscuits, chocolate and things.

We were in our local shopping mall last weekend and were shocked to see what at first looked like a bouncey castle, but turned out to be a summer themed Santa's grotto complete with Santa himself!

And parents were paying £4 for the privilege of their kids visiting Santa in August!
