Thread four already.

As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

Ahem, I can’t actually remember if I updated the links from 2 threads ago. I think I have, but I’m not sure. If you spot any links that don’t work and you’ve already told me please tell me again in bold Thanks and sorry.

I've managed to get as far as half way through the last one (I know, I know, could do better) so if there's anything you think from the last thread that got missed off please let me know and I'll amend for next one.

I joined this thread late last year. Tried very hard to keep up but that's a hard task!
Need to try to be a bit more organised this year and use the cashback sites and buy decent gifts. I am crap at buying presents.

A big problem for me is budgeting. I'm rubbish at it, but need to do a bit of Christmas shopping a month to spread the cost.

I will pop in and out and if I find any bargains, will of course share Smile

Think my in-laws would love one of these each as they are big coffee drinkers.

10 sets of nail foils £4.99

RJnomore · 08/08/2014 20:33

Did someone post minecraft soft toys somewhere? I'm sure it spotted it at work at lunch and now I can't find it. Dd2 would love to find one in her stocking (we always do a cheap soft toy for both girls)

Yama · 08/08/2014 20:45

RJ - I found these when I was browsing for ideas for Minecraft daft dd. So, so many.

GingerRodgers · 08/08/2014 20:57

Thank you all SO much for all these bargains so far! Thanks

RJnomore · 08/08/2014 21:18

Wow thank you Yama! I like the Olaf too.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 08/08/2014 21:20

Portmeirion have some lovely bargains at the moment including this dinner set for £50 instead of £100 and the Vintage Kellogg's range Smile

Yama · 08/08/2014 21:25

Yes, Olaf caught my eye too. Actually, I found some lovely Olaf pj's earlier that I swithered over for my ds. In the end I went Minion. Grin Here

Yama · 08/08/2014 21:28

Sorry, I meant here

freedom2post · 08/08/2014 21:28

I saw someone selling olaf toys at a car boot the other day (for £6 a pop!!) She had lots of frozen bits so obv been shopping in China Wink .

Anyway my point is they were tiny. Not like the ones I've seen in the shops so make sure you know the size before paying.

Barbeasty · 08/08/2014 21:31

If anyone spots a good car mat I'd be grateful.

I mentioned to my colleagues that DD is complete, main present and stocking, except any chocolate in the stocking. They were shocked. Mainly at the mention of Christmas!

LalyRawr · 08/08/2014 21:33

It's not reduced, but if anyone likes Issey Miyake perume, M&S do an exact replica, called Isis for way cheaper. £16 for 100ml, compared to the £67.50 from Boots for 100ml of Issey!

It says out of stock on the website, but I bought some in the Westfield Stratford store today. Also have body sprays for £4, handbag version for a fiver.

Has saved me so much money for my best friends present (we did a smell test by the way, neither one of us could tell the difference).

JessesGirl · 08/08/2014 21:39

Thank you to whoever posted about the John Lewis toy offers, I've now almost finished both Christmas and birthday shopping for the DTs :)

Having this weird panicky feeling though about not being organised, then I stop and realise that we're not even half-way through August and I have plenty of time! Grin

LalyRawr · 08/08/2014 21:41

Sorry, this one is the right link & in stock!

freedom2post · 08/08/2014 21:44

What did you buy jessesgirl

I bought the farm for dd3 but am now worried I missed something Shock

SalemsCity · 08/08/2014 21:44

Marking place. Once again am really glad of a new thread as my stupid phone won't let me post on long threads Angry.

I've just bought the minecraft plushes from the last thread (all 6 of them Blush but for that price, why not!).

That argos Little Tykes cottage that was linked on the last thread was absolutely gorgeous but idiot me left it 2 days till I wemt to order it and the price had gone back up :( Really gutted. If anyone sees it reduced again, or anything similar would you please give me a shout.

[Flowers] thanks reastie for the new thread, loved your version of the twelve days of Christmas Grin.

SalemsCity · 08/08/2014 21:45

Oops Flowers

SisterMoonshine · 08/08/2014 21:48

I know Barbeasty, I avoid mentioning how well organised I am this year in RL :)

Is that 'No more socks' app password protected or anything?

Also, looking out for a radio control car a 10 year old girl would like, if anyone sees anything.

Iseechickens · 08/08/2014 21:54

I'm looking for a 7ft Christmas tree...if anyone sees one at a good price I would be one happy bunny. Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2014 22:07

Sorry, it's sold out.

JessesGirl · 08/08/2014 22:09

Freedom I got the Duplo petrol station set, the Doc Mcstuffins and Fireman Sam puzzles and a couple of the trucks and the car transporter. I seriously am still considering the Buzz Lightyear but I don't want to end up with another situation like last year where they just had way too much stuff and were completely overwhelmed, I may have gone a tad overboard already Blush Grin

RJnomore · 08/08/2014 22:09

The minion pjs on aliexpress are fab! But not big enough for dd2.

Btw thank you all for mentioning aliexpress, I had never heard of I tout dd1 has found a Pokemon bag she wants for school on there. I've told h it sprobably not here for start of school(in Scotland, back in TEN DAYS) but I'm not worried about ordering from them and she's cool about waiting. If I hadn't heard of them I'd have been a bit Hmm

Scaredycat3000 · 08/08/2014 22:18

Sister We got ds for his 4th birthday a Nikko brand remote control car, after many bargain cars that never worked properly. The age for them is 8+ as adults it's fun to play with. Rechargeable, strong, we've crashed into loads of things really fast, responsive controls. £25 for a med size or £50 for the big. Lots of places sell them Argos/Amazon/Smyths/Proper model shops so lots of chances for finding one on sale.
