Thread four already.

As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

Ahem, I can’t actually remember if I updated the links from 2 threads ago. I think I have, but I’m not sure. If you spot any links that don’t work and you’ve already told me please tell me again in bold Thanks and sorry.

I've managed to get as far as half way through the last one (I know, I know, could do better) so if there's anything you think from the last thread that got missed off please let me know and I'll amend for next one.

Rory's story cubes down to £3.64 on Amazon. They're usually £10. There's 3 sets at that price.

I've had them on my watch list a while after I read about them on mumsnet. Will stick them in the stockings.

tanya1312 · 23/08/2014 06:55

Just ordered the dinosaur/car thank you for the link x

VoldemortsNipple · 23/08/2014 07:09

newtonupontheheath They were 50% off already.

I knew I shouldn't have come on this thread. That Aliexpress is the devil. The only thing that stopped me buying an elf on the shelf last night was that I bought a model house kit instead. Elf is still sitting in my basket because he is such a good bargain. The only problem is, my youngest dc is 12 Blush it's never too late to start a new tradition

roslet · 23/08/2014 07:36

Those Sylvanian things are brilliant bargains, wish I could get to a Toysrus! BIRTHDAY7 gives £5 off a £30 spend there and they have some quite good Lego Chima bargains like a Value Pack for £25 (items would cost £40 separately) and Chima Speedorz ring of fire for £2.99.
Best of all is the Playmobil Secret Agent Detection Jetfor £9.96 (doesn't say it's reduced, but has always cost more elsewhere, Amazon currently selling for £27). It's one of those toys which you can't help playing with as you tidy up, it's got a working metal detector in the body of the jet and it's really fun to glide it over things and hear it beep at the metal.

margaritasbythesea · 23/08/2014 08:07

Me too! DD would love Sylvanians now. Sad

Did buy the metal detector jet for me Ds though!

KEGirlOnFire · 23/08/2014 08:31

Thank you for the link to the Tassimo deal. We bought a load of the costa pods when they were on offer in asda because dh wanted a machine, but we hadn't got around to getting one. I've now ordered two, one for us and one for an expenisve looking but cheap xmas present for fil.

I don't drink coffee but a friend has a tassimo and I can recommend the milka hot chocolate over the Cadbury one...

GiantGraspingCeramicFist · 23/08/2014 08:59

Not sure if it's been mentioned already, but Brora are having their annual BH clearance sale atm - lots of reduced cashmere. It's still expensive Grin for jumpers etc. anyway, but their wristwarmers and gloves make nice presents. Just got a pair for my SIL and two pairs for me.

BreakOutTheKaraoke · 23/08/2014 10:21

Price checked some Monster High dolls yesterday in Tesco, coming up as £23 online but scanned through as £11 here

BreakOutTheKaraoke · 23/08/2014 10:22

Only wanted one, but ended ep buying 3 of them!

waithorse · 23/08/2014 10:41

Anyone know of a free delivery code for The Book People please ? Happy isn't working anymore. Thanks. Thanks

RosieBdy · 23/08/2014 16:09

waithorse AFRITZ or STORY15 should give you free delivery if you're spending over £15. Can't find anything for free delivery with less minimum spend at the mo... Maybe someone else will have one...
AFCHILD or ARSUN for 10% off (can't remember if that's been on here already or not!)

VoldemortsNipple · 23/08/2014 17:08

o0 · 23/08/2014 17:30

They went back up earlier this afternoon. Were only down in price for about 14 hours! Amazon is weird.

o0 · 23/08/2014 17:32

Oh the green set is still down in price though.

BakeOffQueen · 23/08/2014 17:40

If anyone is near Lichfield, Magical Story (lovely shop near Debenhams) are having a good sale on. The posters say it's to make way for Santa may have made a squeak when I saw that today ;)

They have a website too- www.magicalstory.co.uk/

waithorse · 23/08/2014 19:07

Thanks Rosie. I got AFRITZ to work. Offers you Cake, Thanks and Wine .

whitepuddingsupper · 23/08/2014 19:27

ItStillLooksLikeRainDear · 23/08/2014 19:31

Thank you oO. I managed to get 2 lots of the story cubes this morning.

Collected my sylvanian caravan this afternoon, great bargain & thought I'd pick up the car at 12.99 & reduced families while at toys r us but none in & not available to order. Anyone seem any of the cars or families at bargain prices?
