Thread four already.

As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

Ahem, I can’t actually remember if I updated the links from 2 threads ago. I think I have, but I’m not sure. If you spot any links that don’t work and you’ve already told me please tell me again in bold Thanks and sorry.

I've managed to get as far as half way through the last one (I know, I know, could do better) so if there's anything you think from the last thread that got missed off please let me know and I'll amend for next one.

I have twin girls who will be 2.5yrs at christmas. I'm so stuck for gift ideas for them.

I never struggled buying for my older boys but am finding the girls hard.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated x

AllThatGlistens · 14/08/2014 11:49

Thanks Wildflowers I'll have a look Smile

AllThatGlistens · 14/08/2014 11:51

Buddy what about a play kitchen or shop? Or a theatre they could put on puppet shows?

bouquetofpencils · 14/08/2014 12:01

KiddyPlay Red Indian Teepee Playset www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00LN2CIJ0/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_Swj7tb1NYK11G

Now 20 pounds reduced from 50 with 2.95 shipping. Includes dressing up stuff.

BuddyKringleberry · 14/08/2014 12:05

Love the idea of a shop as the boys will love it too! I got my eldest son a kitchen when he was 2 so they have that but it's running low on supplies so I could get them some extra food etc then it can go in the shop and the kitchen!

Great idea thanks x

AllThatGlistens · 14/08/2014 12:11

Buddy if you go for a play shop check in your local pound shops for packs of play money, I stocked up on some last year from Amazon for my Dd's till, only cost about £2 per pack for notes and coins, you just might want to check the coin sizes with your twins being little Smile

Argos also have a basket full of toy food for about £6, I've been looking myself recently to restock their kitchen. Amazon do great packs of the wooden food for about £10.

Reastie · 14/08/2014 12:47

Not sure if this is still working, and might not be Christmas related, but boden have a glitch on some of their catch of the day items which have 20% off today and a code can be used to get a further 15% off on top of the 20% using code A44F (usually codes don't work with the 20% off items) . Isn't working for all catch of the day items, but there are a fair few. I'm trying not to buy this skirt for DD. Might be fixed any moment though!

Buddy how about this shop here
I've been eyeing it up for DS1 (I think it's lovely!) , and although it's not exactly a bargain in the spirit of this thread you could do a price watch on camelcamelcamel and see if it comes up cheaper.

BuddyKringleberry · 14/08/2014 13:28

Thanks ladies! Will check out the poundshops and am hoping to get to asda tonight!

I'd added that one to my wish list Ipswich, it looks nice and compact as it can be pushed against the wall when it's not being used. I'll add it to camel now! X

WildFlowersAttractBees · 14/08/2014 14:27

Buddy, Sainsburys had a very similar wooden market stall in their toy sale last October for under £20.

I have got DD(2.11) a half price scooter from ELC as a birthday present. They are down to £17.50 (someone else posted about them on the last thread Grin)

Nix01 · 14/08/2014 15:48

Facebook clearly know I'm shopping around....this is one of my suggested pages, no idea if it's cheap or not to be honest, but it has a lot of likes:

Just discovered that Sainsburys are currently having a bit of a toy sale, including the Frozen Magical Singing Elsa and Anna dolls, down from £29.99 to £22.49Smile I grabbed both for both my girls, but the shelves were emptying fast!

freedom2post · 14/08/2014 18:50

Grrr to the musical Frozen dolls being reduced instore. I need them for dd's but as it's the summer hols can only do Christmas shopping online due to little prying eyes.

If anyone sees them online PLEASE let me know Smile Thanks

Littlemousewithcloggson · 14/08/2014 22:26

MintChocAddict · 14/08/2014 23:19

Checking back in after lurking a lot on last years thread.

Best bargain last year was Gadget the Robot, despite all the 'will they won't they' honour the order. Is now DS favourite toy.
Have also just done a Character.com order again. Fab!

So thanks v much to Reastie and all the other bargain hunters. Flowers

Anyway not sure if anyone else has already posted, but there are some good toy bargains on the Argos website at the moment in the clearance section. I've been searching from low to high price in each toy category and have picked up loads of stuff.

daddykyller · 14/08/2014 23:26
