Present suggestions for 6 year old DS?

I'm starting to think about budgets and presents for DS (6) for Christmas (apologies if you've come to this via Active Convos and want to point out it's only July - it is in the Christmas thread though). As well as choosing things from us, I usually need to come up with lots of suggestions for various family members (who like to do their Christmas shopping early) too.

He already has a scooter, bike (though potentially could do with a bigger one by Christmas, not sure yet), tons of lego (which he loves), a fair bit of playmobil (which he doesn't play with a lot), imaginext castle and bat cave (much sought after in previous years but barely played with) and loads of board games. He's not that into crafty stuff (and we have a huge box of it anyway).

Any suggestions? Particularly keen on any 'non-toy' suggestions. I'm already getting him a new dr who duvet cover (which he loves, but already has lots of toys/figures for). He likes imaginative role play and dressing up and is not so fussed on cars.

All smaller presents popular with friends kids of that age. I'm no use for main presents!

Swimming toys is a great idea attheendoftheday. We'll probably be doing a pool holiday next summer for the first time so inflatables would be perfect for that - thanks! I'll have a look at those other things too.

I am having similar thoughts about what to get my ds who will be six later this year.

So far, I have got him tickets for a concert (which will be on during Easter hols). I have ordered a spiderman watch that will help him learn to tell the time. He is not very good with time.

He loves Andy's dinosaur adventure so he will ask Santa for a dinasaur book and dinosaur models.

I really don't want anymore big toys like bat caves.

I am also considering roller skates and stilts. My ds likes these types of things.

What about a portable dvd player or something that he can use on the plane (bus or train) when you go on holiday?

Ah, a time teaching watch would be good. We've got tablets/portable DVD players,but a little CD player could be good. He has an old one of mine for listening to audio books so something a bit smaller would be good.

Has he got a camera? DS 6yo has liked using his for a while.

Duvet cover and pillowcase set?

Does he have a particular hobby? Eg if he likes cooking, what about attending a cooking class for children?

A time teaching clock and workbook to go with that

Some more good ideas thank you. Scooter accessories would be perfect. I'd like to find a proper wall clock that doesn't tick (mostly because I've never been able to bear the sound of a tickng clock).

He'd really like a grow your own butterfly I think but I couldn't voluntarily have ants in the house after an infestation earlier in the year!

Box set of books he'd like might be a good choice - non-fiction books especially might appeal at that age? Am thinking sets of books about animals, dinosaurs, vehicles,different jobs... Whatever he's into really. The right sort of thing might give him pleasure and value for ages.
Also are there any DVDs he'd like?

What about musical stuff? Recorder and books? A ukelele?

Has he got a stunt scooter? Ds (7) loves his. Also a ramp for it.

Ds loves fact books especially geography / science based ones.

Last Christmas dd's favourite presents were a proper watch, a survival kit and a spy kit.

I made up the latter 2 with things like, camo net and tarpaulin, pop up tent, survival bracelet, survival tips book, rucksack and invisible ink / magnifying glass / notebook / fake passports and I'd cards I made up, a folder of forms the spy had to fill out. Eg suspect list /case history/ fingerprints and a fingerprinting kit. Ds LOVED this.
