APPLE - You attach them to your finger with the rubber band thing attached to them and wave your hand around and it shines a light. Probably not the best description. You're life won't be any less fulfilling without but for some reason kids find them amusing.

BigfootFiles · 19/06/2014 12:03

The Evo scooters say the handle goes from 61-87cm. Max weight is 50kg. I found they also have them in black and orange as well as pink and purple for the same price here.

BeanyIsPregnant · 19/06/2014 12:18

Oh, George sale at Asda you say? I might head up to our local asda this afternoon.... and put it all on the credit card as I have no £ till payday!

andadietcoke · 19/06/2014 14:06

My bird house came today in no packaging, just a Jiffy bag. Would have preferred the packaging with the typo Wink

NorbertDentressangle · 19/06/2014 14:41

Cath Kidston has a sale at the moment.

Not everyones cup of tea I know but some bags are 40-50% off, a few little stocking filler bits and bobs too.

Reastie · 19/06/2014 15:51

norbert I blame you entirely for the new CK handbag you forced me into buying Grin

apple they are mini torches in different colours that go on your fingers. You won't realise how they were missing from your DCs life until you get them Wink

The asda sale was crap :( nothing under £5 really, and only really clothing- nothing like gro bags... But I assume it will vary from store to store with what they have left?

EvilHerbivore · 19/06/2014 17:40

Jake and The Never Land Pirates Jake's Magical Tiki Hideout
now £14.82 down from £44.95!

AppleSnapple · 19/06/2014 18:57

reastie and haveyou oh my- sounds like I totally need them in my life!! Grin

Thanks for the cath kidson link, I sort of want all of them, but for me to keep, that's not really the Christmas bargain spirit, is it??!

SlippersAndPipe · 19/06/2014 19:23

Yama thanks for the Xmas pj's link. I have got some for pressies. Also got myself a Xmas jumper

clippityclop · 19/06/2014 19:25

Have ordered more fingerlights and marking my place for future necessities! Thank you so much for this thread!x

NorksEnormous · 19/06/2014 19:31

Wasn't impressed with the asda sale either, a lot of things reduced by £1 or £2!

Loving that jake and the neverland pirate hideout playset evilherbivore!

TheOneWithTheHair · 19/06/2014 19:39

Re, the finger lights. If you want them, don't procrastinate. I ordered mine in November last year and they arrived in March. I've saved them for this year! Grin

EvilHerbivore · 19/06/2014 19:40

Oooh, good, glad it helped someone norks Grin

ipswichwitch · 19/06/2014 20:20

Evil my mum rang to say she'd ordered the Jake tiki Hideout for DS1. She may be on this thread somewhere!

lucysmam · 19/06/2014 20:24

Are the finger lights down to 43p or whatever it was last year yet? I stuck some on my wishlist last week but they were 79 Shock Grin ...waiting a couple of weeks to see if they go down Grin

I found super cheap fun snaps and fortune telling fish as well...back with links after I dry my hair (while I have the motivation to go and do it properly)

NorksEnormous · 19/06/2014 20:26

I've ordered it, if anyone sees any good deals on the other figures to go with it I would be greatful if you would let me know! Smile

WisemansBridge · 19/06/2014 20:33

My local asda was fairly decent. Some nice onesies for £3, a peppa pig onesie for £4 - all of which I've put awayfor the dc for Christmas. Also got a pack of socks half price and a couple of half price summer dresses. But I also saw a lot of stuff with only £ taken off. Oh, they had a lot of jewellery and accessories half price too. Oh, and adult Minnie Mouse onesies reduced to £5 and slippers for £3...

Also popped into Tesco today. Got some vests reduced to £1 from £5. Also, don't know if their clearance section varies from store to store but my local one had loads of party bag stuff reduced by loads! So if anyonr has a party coming up, or even for stocking fillers, it might be worth having a look. They had things like 4 sticker boxes/packs of party bags/packs of pens/invitations for 25p each.

WisemansBridge · 19/06/2014 20:36

Those finger lights are great party bag fillers, they went down well at my dd's party. Also good for wearing to shows/discos.

LottieAndTheDinosaur · 19/06/2014 21:37

What age do you think the finger lights are good up to?

I got them for my 3yo's last Christmas and they loved them but just wondering if they might be good for older kids?

lucysmam · 19/06/2014 21:39

Thanks for the Tesco tip Wiseman, we're off to town on Saturday so I'll have a mooch around their party section & see what bits and bobs there are to be had (if any)...I find little bits handy for rainy weekends or days when the girls don't want to play out as well as stockings.

95p loom bands, have some myself & they're ok quality wise

63p fortune telling fish, sure they were cheaper though

fire extinguisher water gun 54p, thought the kids might find them novel for a while

The fun snaps seem to have vanished -or maybe I didn't put them in my wishlist but thought I had Confused . All the above are free shipping Smile

lucysmam · 19/06/2014 21:40

My seven yr old enjoyed them, she still has a packet unopened to use as reading torches when her first lot run out of battery Smile

pantshavenames · 19/06/2014 21:47

Bit stressed.. Had three dispatch notes for the Republic of jewels. I did 3 orders on one day (seconds thoughts and free postage). One has already been delivered Confused which is the only one with any tracking but that wasn't the first order. I don't mind really but the first order was the one with my birthday present important stuff on it so why is it not first dispatched!!
Stuff delivered was worth the second thoughts tho' Smile
