Well no... I like finding nice reasonably priced things and stockpiling... but for example the birdhouses, you find them and then suddenly it's ripped off and put on sites. I could have put anything I found on a site but didn't because I considered it helping out Mums.

Can't link and don't have time to read thread so apologises if been mentioned. The www.dotcomgiftshop.com has some real bargains in the clearance section. Jewellery reduced to as little as 69p stickers 10p a sheet, jam making kits, pens, mugs etc.

This is an open forum though. Anyone with any sense would come here to look at the bargains found by the mighty MNers.

I do not have broadband at the moment so I cannot follow any links or look at the Facebook page so hope I am getting the gist of the convo right.

Last year a bargain would be posted and a few minutes later they would be sold out or price would increase.

I don't think it matters where a deal comes from as long as it is a deal.

If you are quick enough/lucky enough then you will get the deal, sometimes you won't that's true of every deal and sale on the planet.

I absolutely agree with mn rules about advertising but I've missed where that has happened.

I just want to avoid all the ridiculousness of last year, this thread is a lifesaver for some people. I don't know how I would manage Christmas without it. It makes me want to send Reastie every day

I just think that taking links from here by an admin to their own site is slightly disingenuous, when I don't post deals from other sites. Obviously it's open and all but it smacks of ill play. If everyone else disagrees then I completely accept that. I won't be posting things that I find though.
