How much have you saved by bargin hunting so far?

DP was a bit disgusted when I got out my Christmas haul to show him a few bits. He wasn't impressed I'd started so early but when he found out how little I'd spent he was quite happy.

I have saved over double what ive spent.
Total saving to date is £73.50

I dont know what ive saved but i can tell you what i've spent.

I have bought 5 presents and spent £24

3 presents are small ones for my daughters, 1 for my nephew and 1 for my friends little girl.

Saved £117 across 10 toys and a handbag. Total spend of £75.

Can't believe I once paid full price for toys

How do you do this? I need to be organised, and start spreading the cost.. But I'm just crap! I have no idea what my dd will want for Christmas.. She will be nearly 2, how do I buy stuff now?!

beany ive been buying stocking fillers and clothes when I see them on sale.
I've also wrote a list of what I would like to buy family and have made a start on that too.
The bargin thread on here is really good and there's a couple of Facebook groups that post a good 30/40 deals a day.

I have spent a £140. I have saved £220.00. I have fourteen presents. I have managed to get lovely shirts, and boots reduced in Schuh from £70 to £15. so dtds will have fabulous boots come Christmas. Got some jewellery too, from ebay Liberty outlet on the bargains thread. I aim to have all shopping finished by the beginning of September.

I think I have saved about 40%, although I haven't got much so far, my finances have been right recently.

I do try and buy things that I think people will like, so whilst there are loads of good deals, they aren't always suitable.

I haven't saved money but I've got considerably better presents for what I would have spent anyway so I'm happy.
