Subscribe and save is pretty good because you get money off, and don't have to keep getting it every month either :)
This next part is a quote for the wide wide world of web:
"
Subscribe & Save allows you to commit to purchasing an item on a regular basis and receive a discount for doing so. The discount is generally between 10% and 20%, saving you quite a bit over the course of a year. You can choose to subscribe to a product every month, every six months, or several options in between. This works for many products on the site such as batteries, shampoo, cleaners, toilet paper, and other stuff you'll need on a regular basis. You can even use it to automate your office lunches. It's delivered to your home when you need it and you don't pay for shipping. You save money and it's really, really convenient
But what if you don't want to actually subscribe to a product? It doesn't really matter. If you buy something via Subscribe & Save and you don't want to continue your subscription, you can just cancel it. Amazon will even remind you a new shipment is coming so you cancel it before they bill you. You make absolutely no commitment to the program by choosing a product, and you can skip any shipments if you don't need it. Amazon just gives you the discount on any Subscribe & Save shipment, whether or not you actually use that subscription. So if you want 10-15% off, just buy the first subscription. You can just cancel it afterwards if you don't want more.

Amazon have a page with all the stuff you can use it on too:
Amazon Subscribe and Save
AND currently you can use the code to get 30% off your first subscribe and save that you do. Just use SAVE30PC (tells you about that on the page linked above)
I think a much better thing you can do is the 3 month free trial of Amazon Family.
With this you get all the benefits of Amazon Prime Instant Video
Unlimited, FREE One-Day Delivery on millions of items
Exclusive offers and discounts for members beyond the normal discounts
The big thing for us is getting 20% off nappies with it. They are already usually cheaper than the supermarkets on amazon.
Also if you do the trick of signing up with a new email you should get you extra free trials too after the 3 months has ended :)
If you want to check that out here is the amazon page about it: Amazon Family 3 month free trial
Just don't forget to turn off renewals before they want to start charging for it. It is £49 for a whole year, so if you want to keep it up you don't have to do anything. If you don't want to keep it - just remember to cancel :)
To cancel go to the following amazon page (Manage Your Prime membership), where you can also find the date your trial is due to end listed on the left-hand side and the option to cancel should be there as well. Make sure you cancel a few days before this date. Just click on "Do not continue". If you have been using it for beyond the free trial and now want to cancel click "Cancel membership". : Manage Your Prime Membership
