Itstill you're doing a grand job with all these Amazon bargains Flowers I love looking at the 'what other customers viewed/bought' bit - more bargain stuff!

Reastie · 06/06/2014 18:39

Look at how busy it's been today, just like old times

Ive just bought the wooden letter and number magnets for dd for Christmas. Her first stocking present!

FiloFunky · 06/06/2014 19:14

I love these purses!

ReluctantCamper · 06/06/2014 19:15

great thread. so far have bought liberty scarf and bird house for me

craftynclothy · 06/06/2014 19:24

If anyone has any ideas (or sees anything suitable) for advent calendar fillers for men, let me know. I did avon fragrance samples last year and he still has lots left so looking for something different. They need to be small enough to fit in a little money envelope.

SqutterNutBaush · 06/06/2014 19:41

Just a word of warning about the cheap toddler safety backpack, they are ridiculously small made and of the 5 I've known who've owned them the strap has ripped off within 5 uses. One of those happened as the child tugged away towards a road so I'd avoid unless your child is a hand holder!

HaveYouHeardOfGoogle · 06/06/2014 19:45

I'll second squtters advice about the toddler rein bag. I bought it last year (the batman one) and I don't think I'd use it for a safety harness as it seems pretty flimsy. DS is happy to use it as a batman backpack though.

Can anyone link to an 'official' loom board. One that isn't a fake.

AuditAngel · 06/06/2014 20:22

I'm trying not to go too mad with the Christmas shopping, I'm trying to clear my debts, but at the same time, I like getting things now and putting them away. I love not rushing around in December!

Mipe · 06/06/2014 20:33

Filo I got one of those little bagpack purses and it is really nice! It is just big enough to put a gift card in (which is what I got it for) :).

NorbertDentressangle · 06/06/2014 20:41

Seeing this thread has made me think.... I have a challenge for you all .....small, lightweight (the smaller and lighter the better) stocking fillers for a 10 yo boy and 15yo girl please as it looks as if we may be abroad for Xmas Grin.

I've seen a few ideas on here already like the little Xmas tree charm

AuditAngel · 06/06/2014 20:46

I must have missed the Christmas tree charm. Can I have a link please?

MayhemMostDays · 06/06/2014 20:47

Amazon Norbert

craftynclothy · 06/06/2014 20:52

norbert how about nail varnish, perfume samples/trial sizes, lip gloss, travel size shower gels, etc. Playing cards (Paperchase usually do some funky shaped ones), nice pens/pencils, packs of tissues (iirc dotcomgiftshop do some fancy ones), jewellery, sweets (things like popping candy)

fivefoottwowitheyesofblue · 06/06/2014 20:57

Mayhem Claire's sell the original Rainbow Loom kit - £20

Blush sorry, my phone went all funny

NorbertDentressangle · 06/06/2014 21:20

OK, OK Crafty calm down! Wink

Like the idea of the funky playing cards as they like card games (and gives them something to do when we're there)

Where can you get samples and trial sizes of toiletries and perfumes from?

craftynclothy · 06/06/2014 21:49

Ebay, just search for "samples"

ItStillLooksLikeRainDear · 06/06/2014 21:49

Not necessarily a bargain but for those looking for Frozen toys-the Elsa soft toy doll is back in stock ATM in Disney store online. Just got one for DD & an Olaf.

Both dressing up outfits seem to be in stock too but I'm holding out hoping Asda ones come back in stock.

lucysmam · 06/06/2014 22:02

Norbert pocket packs of tissues in pretty packaging = 12p in Home Bargains. Travel sized toiletries were 3for2 in Sainsbury's last time I was in. Poundshop for nail polishes.Smile (too old for small cuddly toys from Poundland?) Some randomness from amazon? Finger lights or jewellery type things?

NorbertDentressangle · 06/06/2014 22:16

I think it's the cheap random crap from Amazon that I need eg. like last years finger lights (something that cost pennies but has novelty and entertainment value, plus it's small and lightweight). Will supplement this with edible goodies that will be eaten before we return home so won't take up valuable baggage space.

Decent/main presents will happen when we get home in the new year but we just need the token fun stocking fillers that will make it seem like Xmas IYSWIM.
