Re: the bakugan arena and figurine on sale at Argos...

Haven't checked website yet but when I went to put my reservation number on the screen in store the battle arena had gone up to 9.99 and the figurine was 6.99! Luckily I had my email to show I'd reserved them at a much lower price so they corrected the total for me.
Got both for under £6.

MooseyMoo · 05/06/2014 15:16

I got the Lidl Colour in playhouse today Smile. One is a beach theme with mermaids, dolphins and turtles. The other has robots and tools on it. Think they were flying out as the till operator knew the barcode off by heart!

leavesalmondoutofit · 05/06/2014 15:42

Ainmnua I would like someone to tell me how to do tidy links. Learned how to do smileys on this thread last yearSmile

MooseyMoo · 05/06/2014 15:45

leaves if you scroll to the bottom of this page, there is a heading in bold called Links. Underneath it explains how to do links

lucysmam · 05/06/2014 15:47

Bugger, I forgot all about the lidl playhouse...hope they still have some at the weekend when I next head that way!

Overreactionoftheweek · 05/06/2014 16:05

I've got some debt to clear in the next couple of months so no shopping yet but my resolve is seriously weakening on this thread!

Mipe · 05/06/2014 16:40

Some reduced Monster High Hauntlywood dolls on Amazon - £10 each:

Viperine Gorgon

Honey Swamp

Thanks for the tip on cleaning up links, I never knew how to do that! :)

leavesalmondoutofit · 05/06/2014 17:17

Thanks Moosey but I like the way people refer to THIS and it opens the link. The word is usually blue and not in capitals. It would be great if you know Thanks

Mipe · 05/06/2014 17:39

Leaves it explains how to do it below like Moosey said, you just copy and paste the link where you want it and then add some brackets and call it whatever you like :).

MooseyMoo · 05/06/2014 17:46

leaves as Mipe says, it's explained but my version ...

Start with two square brackets insert your link add a space then type the name you want to appear in post ie THIS then use two square brackets

Like this ...

THIS

MooseyMoo · 05/06/2014 17:49

Argh, bloody auto linked my example - it does show it below (the 2nd example)

sallyst123 · 05/06/2014 18:31

Marking my place :-)

leavesalmondoutofit · 05/06/2014 18:42

Thank you Moosey and Mipe. I totally ignored the brackets. That's why I could never do smilies. Still didn't learn. Thank You

PringleLicker · 05/06/2014 18:52

This thread has been brilliant. Thank you all Thanks

I don't know if it will help anyone but Marks & Spencer have 20% off online today only

PringleLicker · 05/06/2014 18:58

Also Barclaycard Bespoke Offers have an offer to buy a £20 H Samuel Gift Card for £12.50. I used it to buy this Swarovski pen for my niece. Free delivery to store. Pen was originally £24.99, so in effect it was half price.

PringleLicker · 05/06/2014 19:00

Sorry, linky to Barclaycard offer

fingersonbuzzers · 05/06/2014 19:09

Don't know if anyone has linked but there's a brilliant facebook page called "FB Online Bargains for 5 -13 yr olds" that is well worth a look.

xalyssx · 05/06/2014 19:20

Just ordered the 57p pocket knife for DP, thanks :)

I was wondering if anyone had any deals for bath stuff please? ANything from toys to bubble bath to flannels. Santa is getting DS1 and DS2 a big box of bath things for Christmas.

Monopolice · 05/06/2014 19:38

Sports Direct clearance has got loads of kids snow boots in for under a fiver. There's also some ugg-like adult ones for similar prices. Online - you'd never find them in store Grin

ButchCassidy · 05/06/2014 19:39

On Groupon there is a big box of loom bracelet stuff. Should be 20 going for 6.99 Smile

daddykyller · 05/06/2014 20:30

Lol - didn't spot that Reastie :) still- for 57p it's probably worth having as a stocking filler, like you say

For something a bit more substantial I also saw they had for £25 the ENGLAND 1982 World Cup Shirt - (voted the best in a recent poll). Plus shirts from many different era's. Not just England- Germany, Brazil etc too if you feel like supporting someone else :)

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 05/06/2014 20:41

Sorry, feel like this is slightly turning into an 'Amazon Christmas 2014' thread but I thought these were too good not to add! Grin

Firstly thank you again Reastie and everyone else who've contributed to your inspirational thread/s. When you think how much money MNers have saved via this and previous threads it must run into the 1000's! Shock

Ok, this is an offer from amazon for a necklace, bracelet, ring and sweets gift set - Hello Kitty Fashion Set Box (Pack of 4) £12 BUT you can buy via subscribe and save for £11.40 - working out at £2.85 each! BUTTTT if that's not enough when you subscribe to 4 or more items that arrive in the same month (excludes nappies, sadly) you can get an additional 15% off on top of that which if my rubbishy maths is correct works out at £2.43 per gift box!! (Stocking fillers? The photo to me looks like that's the actual size)

Just don't forget to cancel subscription after delivery otherwise you'll be inundated with Hello Kitty jewellery for months on end and will have to wear it all like Mr T Grin

mum2jakie · 05/06/2014 20:44

If anybody's kids have seen the adverts for Cuddle Uppets, Amazon have some varieties on offer at really cheap prices (in comparison to the RRP!)

There is a lovely Winnie the Pooh version for £8.08
www.amazon.co.uk/Snuggle-Pets-Cuddleuppets-Winnie-Pooh/dp/B00B2JRROU/ref=sr_1_12?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1401997180&sr=1-12&keywords=cuddleuppets

Monkey version for £7.68
www.amazon.co.uk/Snuggle-Pets-Cuddleuppets-Monkey-Purple/dp/B00CMTY3N2/ref=pd_sim_k_h_b_cs_7?ie=UTF8&refRID=05120W6XYB30DJ44YRBS

JerseySpud · 05/06/2014 20:57

Thing is Amazon is one of the best places at the moment for the offers where they are clearing stock ready for September time.

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 05/06/2014 21:02

Jersey All I've bought recently on Amazon is a ton of toys - the Moshi Monsters offers recently comes to mind!
