Do you wrap the presents 'from' Santa?

And where were they placed? Just curious really. DP had his gifts from Santa wrapped and placed downstairs in front of the Xmas tree near his gifts from friends and family. I, on the other hand would find them in a pillowcase at the bottom of my bed/bedroom floor, unwrapped.

For our kids we do it his way but I think I would prefer it my way because I loved waking up in the night, in the dark and being able to just about make out an angular shaped pillowcase with toys jutting out. The thought that Santa had been IN MY BEDROOM was just so exciting and I'd run into my parents bedroom to wake them. I think that having them wrapped, downstairs with all the other presents takes something away somehow, but maybe that's just me.

So how do you do it?

We don't wrap the gifts and they are downstairs in family room in santa sacks that the DC's leave out. fire place is covered in soot and snow (flour). Our children are 2 and 5 though older children seem to get them wrapped on talking to colleagues

Pillowcase or bag at the end of the bed, presents wrapped (although I bundle them in tissue as it is so much quicker).

Always a satsuma and some choccy coins.

And a balloon tied to it.

Bigger Santa presents are wrapped but most are unwrapped in the stocking.

Unwrapped in pillowcase/sack on bed end for me... wrapped and downstairs for DP.
ITA about our way being superior :) ... but have allowed DP to persuade me to wrap some of them this year.

In a sack, wrapped the sack/stocking is how we had them as kids, the wrapping is me (I only have one DC, small family generally, and I like wrapping presents). As a child I loved the complete free-for-all of my stocking presents before things got a bit more controlled and sensible with the tree stuff. Smile

I always had them wrapped as a child. My DSs are always wrapped and left downstairs in their santa sacks, I have different wrapping paper for each child for easy identification.

Also as I wrapped them weeks ago they are now a surprise to me as I've forgotten most of what I bought Grin

Stocking on the end if the bed has small gifts, some are wrapped, some chocs, nuts and a satsuma, some soft toys unwrapped.

Books and large presents wrapped and under the tree in the living room.
