Space Station/Santa's Sled passing overhead this evening...

...someone emailed me this:

The Space Station is passing overhead, from West to East, at 16.24 and again at 6.02 - or thereabouts. It lasts for a couple of minutes, and is a bright light moving fairly fast - like a big, slow shooting star.

Kids might enjoy watching - either from a science point of view or from the magic point of view, up to you!

Going to try and see it but it is pretty cloudy here.

We saw it - but the children were unimpressed - the rest of us were really excited Xmas Hmm

AnnoyingOrange · 24/12/2013 20:07

We went out and watched it

We saw it, I think I was as excited as the 6 and 4 year old. Of course it meant we had to abandon Norad Tracks Santa as he couldn't be over Kingston and Minsk simultaneously.

Bit late but many thanks for this info and the link to the ISS page. We had an exciting 3 minutes in the garden last night!

Hope everyone is having a nice Christmas!
