Bastard bloody OH has been working hard recently and consequently has done bugger all in preparation for Christmas. My one ask was that he took les enfants today so I can get on with cooking, bit of cleaning and general bits.

What he's actually done is go to a physio appt at 9am, get back just in time to tell me he needs to drop pressies at a friends house, and no, he can't take to boys too as he wants to get his haircut. despite me always having at least one child with me whenever I get my hair cut

I'm 5mins away from burning his presents. Unless you can persuade me otherwise...

If it's any consolation, I am about to pack my stuff and leave after fucking up the Christmas cake, watching my boyfriend be an unsympathetic git and accuse me of lying and generally just CBA after working my guts out for the last month.

Aaaarrrrrrrggggghhhhh! I am THAT close to ......!

Ah yes I hear you! Hubby hasn't wrapped any of my gifts yet (despite me wrapping the entire families (inlaws etc included) and choosing all the gifts (my own included). My house is chaos but I need to go and help my mum sort her house as we are going there for xmas dinner with my brother and his family. I have no doubt I will be up until silly o clock trying to get everything organised, then tomorrow will be running around like a headless chicken while he complains about being tired and dozes on my mums sofa while I try and juggle the small people and helping my mum out with the dinner etc.

Men are infuriating - it's just in their genes!

I don't know what's worse; the prospect of it being in their genes (therefore not his fault but also no prospect of change) or him just being a twat.

He's still not home. I'm cooking one handed with 5mo DS2 on my hip and trying not to burn his face off with steam etc

I've done the shopping
Wrapped presents
Done Christmas Eve Hampers
Done DS and DD beds with fresh bedding

DS (14) made such an arse of putting on his duvet cover (he ended up inside the blardy thing Hmm ) I fear for the Great General Public when he's a Firefighter. (How's he going to get someone out a second floor window when he can't get a pillowcase on)

So if it IS in the genes BusyCee get DS2 off your hip and give him wrapping paper. 5months is not too young.
I'm too late with my lazy arse cack handed teen. Xmas Wink
