I was in sainsbury last night, they had a good sale on the clothing range. They'd also sold out of Mr Kipling and ow brand mince pies, there was almost civil unrest in that aisle! The only ones that they had left were the bakery ones, it was every man for himself! Don't go unless you need to!

Well dh went to morrisons last night, they had practically nothing on their shelves so gotta venture somewhere today :-(

Bakingnovice · 24/12/2013 08:06

Yes my best mates son works in sainsburys at the weekend and he said this weekend was hell. People fighting over goods, kids screaming, people knocking food off shelves and leaving it on the floor and one woman cried when he told her there was no creme fraiche left.

Why do people do this? I honestly don't get.

Was in Sainsburys last night tea time - popped in to get a ready made pizza after spending the day visiting family (and being rather late back due to the poor weather conditions)
DS went down they 'techy/games' aisle as always to look and we got the Disney Infinity starter pack for ps3 for £29.99 - luckily DS had some Christmas money (that he had just received from family) so he got it - as we had had the discussion that a certain gent would not be bringing it as he had skylanders last year and it's too expensive when you add in all the little characters
At least he will be able to keep up with the chat with his friends now........we had a very peaceful hour when we got home
Happy Christmas everyone x
