Is anyone else up burning the midnight baileys oil, doing the wrapping?

I know I'm going to get less generous with the Sellotape / ribbons / bows as I go on!

Xmas Hmm

I have just finished. Sticky bows were used but no ribbon Xmas Grin.

Couldn't be arsed TBH. Besides which, my bottle of wine was empty & the extra time needed for ribbon would have made opening another essential.

StarsUponThars · 24/12/2013 00:01

Fuck ribbon. The bloody wrapping took ages! Sticky labels, job done. Smile

Liveinthepresent · 24/12/2013 00:03

It's never ending and made me grumpy..

StillWearingOddSocks · 24/12/2013 00:16

Poor santas - here you go Wine

stars - you're done? Xmas Envy

live I'm blooming grumpy too now...especially as DH is snoring for England on sofa blissfully unaware of hurricane winds / wrapping

I know I will be up for hours and hours tomorrow night. Flipping 'Eck...Xmas Biscuit

Totally off topic , but I thought your title said BIKINI wrapping. went a bit cross-eyed for a second.

halfwayupthehill · 24/12/2013 00:33

Just finished. Not helped by the friends who sent me gifts for the children via amazon and asked me to wrap for them!

CloserLook · 24/12/2013 00:50

halfwayupthehill my sister sends presents directly from Amazon every year and I assume she expects me to wrap them up. Very annoying as I hate wrapping and try and get it done as early as possible!

No ribbons or bows here. I've just got 4 or 5 extra bits to wrap tomorrow night and a train track to set up.

NoComet · 24/12/2013 00:55

Just finished, mostly due to DH being an absolute star and doing way more than his share. He's way quicker ans neater than me, he's shot through socks, gloves, Xbox games and onsies.

NoComet · 24/12/2013 00:59

No bows though, I can't recycle the same ones a third or is it fourth year? (Yes, I'm afraid having bothered to make bows with curl ribbon streamers they have been reused.

This years paper really needs red and green bows, not various blues anyway.

ilovesmurfs · 24/12/2013 01:03

we have just finished wrapping. normally i end up doing it xmas eve so feelimg very chuffed i am done a night early!

PenguinBear · 24/12/2013 02:13

Done 5 hours tonight and about another 2 later today!

BrianTheMole · 24/12/2013 02:19

I've done it all . Unlike previous years where it has been stressful last minute.com

raisah · 24/12/2013 08:42

Why don't people who order through Amazon choose their wrapping service? It would make life much easier. I wrap as soon as I buy the gift because my dd is so clingy, I can't spare a single evening to wrap solidly for hours.

StarsUponThars · 24/12/2013 08:52

T'is expensive Raisah. But I used it for one present this year due to disorganisation Smile.

StillWearingOddSocks · 24/12/2013 13:20

Groan - I'm still wrapping! Have only stopped to play master labyrinth with DS (Board game).... Plus it's not as much fun (wrapping) without baileys

Xmas Grin
