What's the thing you do in the microwave to make your house smell Christmassy? Some sort of orange and clove type thingy??

I read an ace thread on here last year about shoving an orange with some cloves stuck in it in the micro to make your house smell Christmassy, or something like that anyway. I can't really remember what it was exactly and don't fancy an exploding orange in the brand spanking new microwave situation, can anyone enlighten me?
Or suggest other ways of infusing house with festive smells?
I'm really after doing something to disguise the stench of slow cookerd lamb on Christmas Eve. Husband trying to kill us all with slow cooked lamb and PMT combo. Bastard.

Buy some orange blossom water, pour into a hot pan, orangey smell throughout your kitchen

No idea about the orange.... but get your bottom to Sainsburys, their Christmas tree scented candle is the smell of Christmas. We have 2 big ones and the tea lights Xmas Blush.

I thought it was cloves, a cinnamon stick and a bit of orange rind in a pot of water on the stove? Never tried it myself.

The only thing that makes me feel Christmassy is the smell of cigars.
