I set DH up with an Amazon account to take advantage of the Prime trial.

I just bought the 3 DSs new duvet sets for when they get out of the bath on Christmas Eve to go with their pjs.

My defence is that duvet sets are not "gift gifts" are they? Although having never before felt the need for stockings I am now contemplating popping by pound land tomorrow before I go home from work!!

I twitched earlier and bought a Playmobil house from Amazon. I am also getting stocking anxiety. Blush

AnneWentworth · 22/12/2013 14:51

'Stocking anxiety' I knew there was a name for it.

Im scared to order anything else off the interweb in case it doesnt arrive though Hmm

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 22/12/2013 15:06

I was Twitchy because I hadn't bought my son enough (though the little toad gives me NO help WRT what he wants )

So today- 2 annuals (Buy One Get One For £1)

Game gift voucher
Microsoft Points for X-Box
X-Box game (special offer HMV)

I bought a duvet cover for DH and I (went on Dec 1st) and new Christmas fleeces for the DC

AnneWentworth · 22/12/2013 17:13

Oh, and I just realised that I had a few extras left to get for others that I was going to rush around after work tomorrow to get. BUT just ordered on Anazon with guaranteed Christmas Eve delivery.

Feeling good, just two pressies left that DH will be getting.

Although I know I am getting some book tokens tomorrow and it is going to take every ounce of strength to not go and buy bookmarks/lights and other bits for the DC.

Don't rely on amazon, I had guaranteed delivery for sat and my item did not turn up (I payed £5 to get it delivered next day delivery) Sad, am hoping it turns up tomorrow.

MoreThanChristmasCrackers · 22/12/2013 17:51

I twitched today in Boots and bought dd an Emily Strange make up case. £18 Xmas Shock

TinselinaBumSquash · 22/12/2013 17:54

Don't rely on AMAZON! I've had 5 things ordered between Monday last week and Friday all on prime next day and not one thing has arrived. Amazon are blaming Christmas overloads. Confused

Quenna · 22/12/2013 18:02

Oh I was being so strong but I had to pop into town with DD as she wanted to get the cat a present. Noooooo...I ended up spending £50 on extra bits and bobs. Why? Why?

Panniers for DHs' bike. A copy of a Dickens book but in miniature (why?), some neon headbands (why? Why?)

I shouldn't be allowed out.

Amazon have been great for me,everything has arrived next day this week. One item wasn't tracking on royal mail site and rm said they hadn't received it so amazon sent out another free of charge. Two hours later the one royal mail claimed not to have turned up...

The only amazon order that took longer was one from a marketplace seller.

I bought ds new duvet sets with the twitch too - a mario one and a sonic one!

AnneWentworth · 22/12/2013 18:28

Oh no! I don't have the money now to buy anything else and if use the vouchers and buy tomorrow I might end up with duplicates!!

I have got a football one, Star Wars and Spider-Man. It will be lovely clean pjs, clean new duvet set hopefully equals a peaceful nights sleep.

I did order w load of things from marketplace sellers last week and from what I gather from the receptionist they seem to have arrived.
