Anyone with a wall mounted fire they put stockings on?

Care to tell me how you hang them from it?

We've moved today & this house has a wall mounted gas fire (I can't think of another way to put it). I think the kids stockings would (when they come back out tomorrow) look nice on it, but am a bit as to how to dangle them from it.

No, but if you google 'stocking holder stand' may give ideas. Can't find a uk stockist yet, but maybe it is too late for delivery anyway, but perhaps you could cobble something similar together with a rail and hooks.
