I didn't even realise the last thread was nearly at the end Blush

As usual I'll stick the long OP in the next message, but haven't been so diligent about keeping it updated since it's so close to Christmas and it's all slowed down, sorry.

Castle up to £30 now!

ValiumQueen · 18/04/2014 17:01

I have bought DS some playmobil for his 4th birthday, and also school trousers from M&S. He is 18 months old Grin

DD2 will be 4 on Monday and I had bought most things prior to Christmas. Just waiting on the campervan. Relatives are giving me the money for the gifts I got on their behalf, so I have enough cash to pay for her party outright (nowt fancy, but still at least £50) Grin I love this thread!

daddykyller · 19/04/2014 11:01

The Castle at the cheap price had run out of stock now last night :( Still lots of other goodies going on- like this one is still 60% off at £19.99 : Fisher Price Imaginext Dinosaur Pterodactyl

But looking again this morning the castle has gone back down again- worth getting while it's hot- might not last long again :)

supermariossister · 20/04/2014 15:05

bought ds a max steele toy at 4.99 instead of 20 in the Argos sale to put away for birthday in summer and ss the Dr dreadful zombie head for 4.99 instead of twenty, it's got shocking reviews but he has been asking for it since last Christmas and at twenty quid I have always managed to swerve itGrin. will start Christmas when the birthdays are bought for or if I see anything in the meantime.

If anyone is after a cheap-but-quality tablet, perhaps for the DCs, Asda Direct have recently done a couple of deals on the little Samsung 7-inch one for around £100. We got one on the last deal for an older relative who loves it and thinks we spent a fortune on it!

The (now finished, sorry) deal this week was £110 for the tablet AND a camera, which could sort two big presents in one go, and then there was a £10 discount for paying via PayPal, so the camera was effectively free, again making it a good little present for the DCs or whoever. Asda have discounted this tablet a few times now, so worth watching.

Keep an eye on HUKD.

Think Argos has the tablet on its own for £100 at the moment too.

Wow! I've just spent a small fortune at House of Fraser after the heads up! Thank you! (Including wrapping paper and cards!).
Redundancy will be hitting my work place very soon so I'm determined to buy some bargains as I go along and try and put some money aside.
Our turn to cook Xmas lunch this year (eeeekkkk) so will be looking out for bargains! I've already bagged the kids onesies in the primark sale- have 5 children so it all adds up!
Keep it coming guys!
Will let you know if I spot anything Grin

Reastie · 02/05/2014 07:44

daddykyller · 02/05/2014 10:32

Also found a code for Babies R Us / Toys R Us: 20NURSERY gets you 20% off nursery stuff: Goes nicely with the 50% off cotbeds that is also on over there :)

Marmaladecat1 · 02/05/2014 12:16

I'm looking for the cheap annuals that were on eBay last year.
The ones I've seen are all about £2.99 up. I'm sure it was cheaper last year!
Peppa, fireman Sam, Ben and Holly type thing.

Marmaladecat1 · 02/05/2014 15:53

the book people have a May Day sale, a few children's books to stash away for the stockings.
