As usual I'll stick the long OP in the next message, but haven't been so diligent about keeping it updated since it's so close to Christmas and it's all slowed down, sorry.

Painty I placed my order 21st Jan and only got it yesterday and you placed yours 24th Jan so it should be with you early next week if not this weekend - they send an email to say it's on its way and it's usually 2/3 days after you get that (I got my email Mon and it came Wed).

Good luck as it's well worth the wait. I bought rings, necklaces, doughnut lipbalms, erasers (10p for 4!!!), keyrings and lots of other bits - very happy

Boots have some great gift sets at 70% off including ted baker, fcuk and joules. Just got a load for my nieces and nephews.

Sainsburys have got a dvd/cd etc clearance on at the moment - not a lot but a few things for £2-3 including Mickey Mouse's Christmas Triple dvd and Planet Earth by David Attenborough.

Have only looked at the dvd's so far, but there's cds, blue rays and games too.

Clintons today had up to 90% of christmas stuff. Body Shop shower gel and body cream reduced £17 to £8 in store christmas presentation bag.

If you are outside your current contract for TV/Phone/ Internet Virgin media are doing half price on their bundles at the moment. So for the very basic package it's just £10 a month. Could be a big saving for some people there.

Hi, does anyone know if Argos 3 for 2 on toys in the first part of the year? Saved me a small fortune at xmas and now looking for dds birthday (lets not mention it isnt until the summer)

I have just bought about 10 sets for various people/children for next Christmas, really nice colours and quality and very heavily discounted, most were only 2, as they were further discounted at the till.
