I didn't even realise the last thread was nearly at the end Blush

As usual I'll stick the long OP in the next message, but haven't been so diligent about keeping it updated since it's so close to Christmas and it's all slowed down, sorry.

Thank you Elf. I will have a look at it today. It was hard finding a screw driver long and thin enough to get into the damn batteries in the first place.

So, what are the best sales or have I missed them all? I will not be able to get anywhere in RL except Tesco, and they vary so much from Shop to Shop.

Has anyone seen a towelling dressing gown for a boy aged 3-4 on their travels? DS has decided he needs one for his birthday but no one seems to stock them...Toy Story would be amazing!

Xmas Grin at Elf the Furby whisperer Xmas Grin

Happy to have helped. DD on to her 2nd Furby as had the big one last Christmas and the Furby rocker this Christmas. They are very funny but can get very a bit annoying. She has the ipod app that let's her feed and play with them too so if you have an iphone download the free app for more fun...

I bought Lego mini figures series 8 yesterday at Tesco Craigmarloch. They were 10p a pack I bought loads (20). I will split my haul between two lego fanatics for birthdays. They had lots of moshi figures and Mike the Knight figure sets for £2

Habe posted separately but just in case anyone can help as this thread has really got me through a very tight Christmas!

A desperate plea: does anyone out there have a John Lewis receipt for a 90ml bottle of YSL Cinema? It was a Christmas present bought at the retail price of £80.50 at start of Dec (still at that today!) but my dad has lost the receipt so they will only voucher refund it at a price match price of £36 that they had it at for one week in December. We took a bank print out but he paid for two bottles at once so as the amount is not the same they still won't refund. So, I've taken the £36 but the lovely sales lady has given me a special print out as she could see we were genuine so if we find any receipt they'll give us the difference. So please please please does anyone have a receipt I could have?

Sorry, I can't help mrsA

I collected my Boots half price toys today. Had another look on website and there are new toys added.

Just a couple I recognised: Wow Emergency 3 in 1 £11, Imaginext Wizard castle £14.99, Orchard Toys Post Office game £4.50

I bought a few stocking fillers from peacocks today -
Lip balms in a purse £2 (was £4)
Build a dinosaur 50p (was £1.50)
Body glitter stick £2 (was £4)

I was given an Xmas present from peacocks which isn't to my taste, so I returned it and got the stocking fillers, so technically, didn't cost me anything.

RhondaJean · 29/12/2013 17:49

Biggest hit here was the £20 furby from the amazon glitch - I would never have bought one so I am so pleased!

Bought some toiletries sets from sainsbos for birthdays, 70 percent off, best find was burts bees sets down from £14 to £4.20, also boots as well as having all their three for two gifts half price have 1/3 off some designer fragrance sets (Hugo boss, davidoff, Ralph Lauren etc) and 1/3 off some of the Clinique gift sets, treated myself to a little make up set with some of my Christmas money.

Waitingforflo · 29/12/2013 20:51

Anyone still here? Grin

Boden stuff all reduced again and there are some lovely cheap slippers and a toiletry bag set for about £8 each . . . shall we start storing for next year? Wink

LaTrucha · 29/12/2013 20:53

If you go n Quidco, there is a 30% off code which works on sale things plus 10% off through quidco. On your marks, bargain hunters.... (although I still couldn't afford anything).

ReastieYuleANBU · 29/12/2013 20:54
