What can I do tomorrow with the DC to get us feeling ready for Christmas?

None of us have much Christmas spirit this year!
We have all day free (until about 6) and wanted to do something nice with the DC 9,8 and 2.
Ideally nothing too messy in the kitchen as I am going to be doing enough washing up and cleaning over the next few days!
All ideas welcome :)

Make paper chains or popcorn string decorations.
Go through the Christmas tv guide with a highlighter and find some good films to watch together.
Decorate a gingerbread house (the morrisons one comes with the glue ready to use in the box, but not v nice sweets)

Get some ready made coloured icings and each make something to sit on top of the cake.

We're going to the cinema to watch Frozen. They're too tired to do much else and I fear I may have a hangover tomorrow

Thanks all, based on the first response I hotfooted it to Tescos for a gingerbread house so that's waiting for us. We also got some ready to roll gingerbread dough and are just making little men to go inside the house.
When we got home from the shops, DP had lit the fire so it feels better. I now realise my main non festive problem stems from the fact that I'm usually panic wrapping and shopping etc usually up to Christmas eve but ive done most of it already.
Think next year i'll revert back to my old ways, I much prefer it!

Crack open a tin of Roses and watch a movie the the light of the Christmas lights.

We don't have or like Roses and don't have that movie!! I am just about to put the DDs to bed shortly, DP and I have got booze and I will probably wrap the remaining stocking bits and other stuff hiding in the boot of the car.
We are really lacking Christmas spirit this year!

Don't know if yours are too old/too cool for this, but tomorrow we're going to pinch an idea I saw online, which is essentially this:

Kids get ready for bed as per usual, then on their pillow is a 'ticket' for the xmas express. It instructs them to put dressing gowns on, come downstairs and to the front door, where you're waiting in/by the car with popcorn and hot choc (in travel mugs) and Xmas music blaring out from the stereo. Then you drive round your local area admiring/spotting the lights.

Ours are 6. 5 and 2 so would enjoy this. Please ignore if it's too twee!

Hallow Please do not hide gifts in the boot. My brother had his car stolen and my SIL had stored all her shopping. So everything was stolen.

Tis okay Raisah, it's all wrapped and safe inside now, but hadn't really thought about the car being stolen at all! Will not be hiding anything else in there though, very good point.
Sibling that sounds like a lovely idea, they're not too cool for that but we take lots of detours at the moment to admire all the local lights already!
Think the DDs are losing the magic a bit now they're older.
