Have got the ham and the turkey but not got veg yet. If I buy them to or row will they be ok or should I dare the shops on Monday after work?

Thanks

I've got all veg today from aldi apart from Brussels, as they looked a bit ropey! All veg is in a box in the garden.

Personally I wouldnt. I would never buy the veg for my Sunda roast 6/7 days before hand.

Nightmare though if you are working up until the last minute.

I think alot of Supermarkets are opening super early on Monday - the 24hour ones open at Midnight Sunday night if that helps.

I had mine delivered tonight and its in cloth bags (ie not sweaty plastic) in the cold cold cold garage. I reckon it'll be fine. If it looks dodgy by Christmas Eve I will replace. But I thought I would risk wasting a few quid of veg on the chance that I won't have to hit the shops!

I will get up before DH goes to work on 23rd and hit Tesco and Asda aboyt 7, get it all hopefully and profiteroles that aren't dated about 2 hours hence like last year. Im looking at you Tesco!
