Are they all considered a bit naff? Or is it possible to personalise some things without it looking naff? These are the sorts of things I have seen that can be personalised.

Toys

Storybooks

Mugs

Stationery

Bath robe/Bath towel

Blanket

Baby shoes/Boots

For and adult or child? Most under 10s really like things with their name on. And so do teen girls as long as the item is cool and has their favoured nickname on it eg Kaz or whatvever your DD named Catherine is actually calling herself at the moment!

Kindle case, ipad case, jute bag, mug would be for adults.

The rest for kids.

A couple of mine have fairly uncommon names, so I'm getting them some colouring pencils with their name on.

They are under ten though, I wouldn't do it for adults/teens. And I think clothes and bags with names on are not that great even for children.

I have an unusual name and I love getting things with my name on it, so does my sister. I got my mil a sewing bag that has her name on it. I think it depends on the adult tho, because my own mum would hate anything personalized like that.
