DS has persuaded us to have four of his friends from school here for a little Christmas 'party' on Thursday after school and I have no idea what to do with them! I'm hoping that they'll spend the entire two hours building a giant Hexbug track or something, but I need to have a few festive activities up my sleeve in case they expect more in the way of entertainment. Have got chocolate coins and finger lights as little prizes and I'm going to try and chuck together a CD of Christmas songs for musical statues/bumps. I don't want to do pass the parcel because it always ends in tears and trauma. What else can I do with five small boys in a small house?

I would imagine tbh they'll be shattered so I would get a Christmas film on DVD and a giant bowl of popcorn. Job done!

How about a chocolate coin hunt?

A 'disco' to the christmas music (DDs favourite - do boys go in for this sort of thing?)

Short Christmas dvd on standby if they get too boisterous

Baking eg. gingerbread men or you could just buy undecorated cakes or gingerbread men and let them decorate them with smarties etc.

Although tbh they'll probably just disappear to where the toys are and entertain themselves, and you'll just need to provide drinks n snacks Grin

Glad I am not the only one Spider!! I am having 11 children and 5 adults on 23rd!!! We are starting with lunch then playing pass the parcel, pin the nose on Rudolph, musical bumps, musical statues, plus I have craft items from baker Ross so they all have a little something to take home!!
