Mine is getting a Furby Zoom, Doctor who figures, Star wars things (dressing up etc), a practical joke set, annuals. Give your DS a toy store christmas catalogue and a pen to tick items they would like and you will soon have some ideas. Good luck !

MincedMuffPies · 15/12/2013 23:48

Ok, lego castle www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-Castle-70404-Kings/dp/B00B06JEZU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1387150873&sr=8-1&keywords=lego+castle but OMG its gone up fom the £50 I spent on it a couple of months ago.

this really cool spiderman shower gel with a water pistol in and targets to shoot at for in the bath.

Spider man, Iron man and teenage mutent ninja turtle boxers and sock, he will love these, really really love these and he asked for socks on his list.

remote control car

ps3 game and 2 dvds

a superman poster (can you sense a marvel theme here OP Grin)

guess who or alien kurplunk, haven't decided which is for dd and which is for ds.

and he asked for a marble run so I bought this one which looks pretty good. and I can't wait to play www.amazon.co.uk/Marbureka-105-Piece-Marble-Run/dp/B00GN6DDX6/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1387151171&sr=8-9&keywords=marble+run

and some marvel again shower gel and scent, some hot wheels cars and a few little bits and bobs like a giant pen and a stamp.

MrsCakesPremonition · 15/12/2013 23:49

A scooter. Some Ben 10 figures. A DS game. Some felt tips. Some stuff for his room which we are doing up. A small Nerf gun. Some annuals. Some pants. A selection box. A ring binder. A biro. Bubble bath.

mydadsdaughter · 15/12/2013 23:50

Mine (just six) is getting beyblades, skylanders swap force, lego racng car and lots of books, chocolate and drawing bits, oh yea and a poster for his room.

PrammyMammy · 15/12/2013 23:51

My ds will be 6 on the 30th.

He is getting, roller skates, the new bat cave & a pack of figures, a big box of Legos, bumble bee transformer (he got Optimus last year and saved his tooth fairy money to buy megatron), a cuddly dog, a power ranger robot thing (megazord?). He and dd are sharing a walk on piano (dd4), and in his stocking he has bath bomb, chocolate coins, angry bird notepad/stamper kit.

We also bought a millennium falcon play set & figures but decided to keep that one for his birthday.

My parents have him a scooter and a star wars doll thing.
My gran gives pj's, socks, knickers and sweets.
IL's have Ninjago Lego & money bank.
Aunties/uncles ds game/ magic set.

He is a very lucky little boy I tell you.

poopooheadwillyfatface · 15/12/2013 23:52

schleich dinosaurs
clothes pj's dressing gown slippers etc
remote controlled tarantula
star wars dvds

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest · 15/12/2013 23:52

Star Wars Lego and its extra merchandise basically! Practical joke set here too, and a joke book because he seriously needs to start learning jokes that a)work and b)make people laugh! He's having a wallet, as he now gets pocket money, a couple of good chapter books and, randomly, a My Little Pony castle, as it is all he asked Father Christmas for! He's having Stepping into Science kit from a relative and junior Scrabble from his brother. The MN Christmas bargain threads have pretty much ensured I finished my shopping about a month ago and had some non-plastic tat stuff for him for once.

CrazyHamstersbigbaubles · 15/12/2013 23:54

A few Take and Play Thomas Tank Sets .
Disney Cars & Playsets
Micro Scooter
Few Dvds
Ukelele Xmas Confused
Some art stuff
A garage kind of thing

Oh and a Purple Rabbit .

CrazyHamstersbigbaubles · 15/12/2013 23:54

oh and not forgetting some Lego

ThePlatypusAlwaysTriumphs · 15/12/2013 23:56

Ds is just turned 6. He wants dinosaurs, lego (ninjago, more dinosaurs...) power rangers "stuff", books, but he also wants a tablet (thanks to his big sisters never letting him them use theirs!), whih his doting papa will provide

TheDayOfMyDoctor · 15/12/2013 23:57

Far too much! But between Christmas & birthday, from us and family:
Lego Star Wars
Some lego city

Lucylouby · 16/12/2013 07:42

FeastOfPhteven · 16/12/2013 08:31

Thanks everyone. Still struggling as to what to get DS3 as he just isn't into anything! Have bought him a few things but wanted to add a couple more smaller things. Maybe a scooter and dress up thing.

Ds is 4. He's getting a bike and a small stocking. Amazed at the lists above!

MmeGuillotine · 16/12/2013 12:24

We've got our five year old boy:

The Lego castle, Iron Man dressing up set, Iron Man hand thing that fires stuff, Despicable Me and Angry Birds Star Wars annuals, The Angry Birds Star Wars Death Star thing and possibly also a Furby if I can still find one this week. :)

Extended family have also bought him some Doctor Who stuff, two of the Lego Castle add on sets and two Lego Iron Man sets.

I found it ever so tricky to work out what to get him so feel your pain. It's a funny age, it would seem.

Bath mitt
Bubble bath

2 books
Marbles
2 playmobil knights sets
Umbrella
Selection box
Skylander

PirateJelly · 16/12/2013 20:25

Ds 4.5 has got a power rangers skateboard and skateboard ramp, a power ranger costume and additional mask, Pumpaloons, operation, playdough factory, pirate ship and shark, cheap Lego tub, playmobile style castle and knights (but much cheaper),tree Fu Tom DVD, pens and paints and paper, spiderman figure, spiderman torch, spiderman and mike the knight bath stuff, erm thinks that's most of it, oh and a little tikes pirate water table.

He's getting a Leappad power from my mum and god knows what else plus he's at his dads Christmas day so he'll no doubt get loads there. I'm alittle Blush actually at what he's got, and I was worried it wasn't enough but now I can see why maybe he acts quite spoilt although tbh he gets very little else the rest of the year.
