What do I buy for a lovely man I've recently started dating?

Just that really. We've met up just once a week for the last 6 weeks and have done "something" each time, eg cinema, museum visit, drive in the country, walk through the woods, visited a historical town house. Although we've talked constantly I am at a loss what to buy and how much to spend. I know what shops he likes but a voucher seems a bit lame. I haven't been to his house yet so I don't know what he has there either. Any ideas?

A nice scarf, some nice beer (tale ale/independent brewery type ), a trip to something you know he wants to do?

Thanks for replying. He doesn't really drink and he wants to go to China. Bit out of my price bracket Smile. Perhaps I may go to the museum we visited (Egyptian) and buy something from the shop.

How about some travel books on China? Or one big photographic book about China? That shows you pay attention to his interests and dreams of the future without it being a sort of problematic 'how close are we?' present, such as clothes or tickets for the two of you to do something together.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have bought a travel book on China. Might give him a bag of rice and some chopsticks too Grin
