Heat up soft toy thingy?!

Hello ladies...well...i think i've been in permanent twitch mode since I started christmas shopping but my little boy has a blue elephant which you put in the microwave...it was a gift so not sure where its from but every time we do it for him his little sister looks on longingly and then holds out her pink unicorn and asks for it to be warm! I feel terrible and now want to get her one!! any ideas where from?!

BHS have various animals that you put in the microwave, I got DS girlfriend a monkey, think it was £7.50

The blue elephants were in sainsburys last year.

Smart Ideas or Clintons Cards have some, there was a very cute pink bunny one. Chemists usually have them as well.

Topshop do a selection called 'Hotties': a unicorn, a dragon, a leopard, a dog, a sheep and others I can't remember. They are £8.99.

Oh my...I cannot even tell you how much she would adore the unicorn one. It's out of stock now though :-( gutted!!!

I was thinking of making a DIY one for my DD. I wonder if that is even possible? Maybe buy a microwaveable wheat bag and pop it into an opening in her unicorn and add a zip? Assuming it is safe for her age, you are handy and can be arsed to do this, of course.

And the reason I am thinking of attempting DIY is because I cannot find a non-scented hottie for some reason - perfumes give me a headache, esp lavender. Plus we have way too many soft toys cluttering up the house/bed and I am loath to add another!

Kipsy I wish I was that handy!! Unfortunately if my kids get a whole in the stitching of their clothes or something I have to wait for my mum to fix it Smile I think I know what she'd say to this suggestion lol. If it helps...the boys blue elephant is supposed to smell of lavender but it doesn't. Maybe it's because it had to be out through the wash after a sicky episode?!
