We have already eaten a tin of roses Blush and the kids have a selection box in their sack.

But which chocolates do you absolutely always have to have at Christmas time? I am hoping someone gets us a tub of heroes Smile

After eights to play the game where you balance one on your forehead and then have to eat it without using your hands.

And a chocolate orange. Each.

Mint matchmakers, as many as possible. But Eeeeevil Nestle. :-( Luckily Aldi make 'em. :-D Those are for DH really. I would like some Benedicts Bittermints.

I'd also like some Terry's Neopolitans but the buggers stopped making them decades ago. :-(

Ps for anyone boycotting nestle, the m and s after eights are far nicer than the actual after eights, usually cheaper, and comes in dark/ milk or white choc

Rose and violet creams are sold in Hotel Chocolat and Waitrose.

Bendicks Bittermints
Lindt Chocolate santa (in the stockings)
Divine chocolate coins (in the stockings)
Neuhaus Manon collection or maybe some Charbonnel et Walker marc de champagne truffles...
Probably a box of Thorntons Continental knocking about even though they are temple achingly sweet...

Oh and the odd clandestine chocolate orange, secreted at the back of the fridge and eaten cold, when no one is looking. Except they changed the recipe and they are always so disappointing.

And if I can find them, I adore Cote D'Or Bouchees (praline filled elephant things)

Ha, had to comment tshirtsuntan: one of DH's mates is going for the position of Ambassador next year and if he is successful, I cannot wait to send him a huge box of Ferrero Rocher Grin. I bet he'll end up with 20 boxes.

Used to buy Charbonnel and Walker rose and violet creams. But hotel chocolat is better and fresher.

Much the cheapest way is to buy the little plastic taster boxes of six chocolates, if you get three or more they are cheaper. For some reason, exactly the same chocolates cost way more in the H-boxes. Weird.

As a child, quality street, but they have ruined them now, especially the purple Brazil nut ones. Cheap bastards. :(

Stockings must have jelly beans in them. Tis the law.
