Presents for teachers - what have you made/ making?

I've left it late. I have been disorganised.

Ds is in reception and has wonderful teachers and TAs. I'd really like to show my appreciation and not resort to chocolates although I loved them when I was teaching

Inspire me please!

We made honeycomb dipped in chocolate. DS said teacher had already eaten two chunks by break time (much to his delight) - either she has low standards or we look like the types to wash hands before we cook!

My mum was a teacher and never threw anything away! Has anyone actually ever got really ill from eating a home made gift?? If I make sure I tell them I made it?

Lookout - I only ever threw out things from families where there were issues over cleanliness/ personal care iykwim, and most of those families either bought something or didn't bother or gave me an already half eaten box of chocolates!

Sure your ds' teachers will think its a lovely gift! :)
