You've missed the last posting date for Royal Mail. You could try a courier but I think you'll be pushing it.
How big is the package?

ggirl · 14/12/2013 13:59

Ive taken my chances a few times with Australia and only once was it late. Posted 16th one year and it go there.

My parcels to Florida usually take a week so you never know, you might get it there in time but if it HAS to be guaranteed to get there, then maybe order something locally just in case.

I'm just sending something from amazon Canada to my brother as I missed the last post.

GirlWithTheDirtyShirt · 14/12/2013 15:44

I post to NZ every year and often miss the post. Fastest it's taken is 3 days, longest a week. I reckon you'll get it there if you post Monday.

4lovelychildren · 14/12/2013 15:45

I had a huge parcel arrive from NZ last week and it only took 4 days to get here!

ggirl · 14/12/2013 16:53

I ended up spending £32 but it's not guaranteed ,that would have been £59 Shock
Present only cost £35 , serves me right.

Meant to add, I did Surface Mail about 14 November and it arrived in Oz before the 1st Dec.

Think I'm just lucky.

As Purple says, you can send something via www.amazon.ca
They will take a UK credit card. Warning: Canada Post is dead slow, so at this point you may need to use their 'guaranteed X day' service - the amazon site should tell you whether or not it thinks a particular item will arrive by Christmas.

The official Royal Mail airmail deadline was last Tuesday. I've sent stuff a few days late in previous years; occasionally it does make it on time anyway, but often it doesn't.

Or you could try phoning FedEx or DHL or similar.
