What meal to make for guests on Boxing Day?

I have family staying with me Christmas Eve - Boxing Day.

Christmas Eve meal is going to be ham, salad, maybe a few little quiche type things, probably a chocolate roulade/Yule log for pudding.

Christmas Day - turkey etc.

What to have on Boxing Day? When I was a child, my mother used to reheat turkey, but more recently, she has become fixated on having roast pork. I don't mind either but now it is me doing the hosting I wonder if I should do something different?

If it was just my family, I would have turkey hash but I get the feeling I should not offer turkey on 2 consecutive days to guests. However, I don't really want to do roast pork and all the trimmings having done the full Christmas dinner the day before.

So what are you having on Boxing Day? Or rather, what would you serve to guests in my situation? Thanks!

We've got family over on boxing day, we're having a sit down buffet type lunch with left over turkey, home made bread rolls, cheese board, salad, etc etc. Might also heat up some bits like spring rolls etc. So people just help themselves to what they want and however much they like. I don't think people want a huge rich meal on boxing day after the indulgences on Christmas day. I'm doing a hazelnut meringue roulade with raspberries and a tarte almonde (or something like that) for pud. I'd say go with straight forward stuff you can preprepare, freeze the desserts where possible so it's all done and out the way.

Gino and Mel had a recipe for a Turkey and ham pie on today which was very simple with the sauce being made before and even frozen.

Thought of this thread when I saw it.

On Boxing Day we are doing quiche, picky bits and probably leftover turkey sandwiches - pretty much what you are having on Christmas Eve though. On Christmas Eve we are having lasagne and cheesecake as its MIL's birthday and that's what she has requested!
