Aldi have bags of chocolate trees by the till.

DoesntLeftoverTurkeySoupDragOn · 12/12/2013 14:07

Just tie ribbon round full sized bars. Far more satisfying of an evening :o

curlew · 12/12/2013 14:08

Sainsbury's near us have loads!

Justyou · 12/12/2013 14:08

Morrisons have loads in

HyvaPaiva · 12/12/2013 14:09

M&S have lots

ilovepowerhoop · 12/12/2013 14:10

they had them in tesco

Tobagostreet · 12/12/2013 14:11

Another vote for Tesco. Bought a packet there last night (plus 2 packs of candy canes to put on the tree too!).

BitOutOfPractice · 12/12/2013 14:14

Hmm I've just tried Tescos and the poundshop and CoOp

Not sure when I'll get to M&S and we don't have a morrisons

Doesn't I like your thinking but it won't taste the same as Christmas tree chocolate will it?

BitOutOfPractice · 12/12/2013 14:20

ilovepowerhoop · 12/12/2013 14:23

we have loads as I bought some and so did dh. have still to put them on the tree though

HedgehogsRevenge · 12/12/2013 14:23

I got some Cadbury's ones in Tesco yesterday. Quite hard to find, on those hanging things dotted about randomly. I did already have some but ate them all and had to replace before ds noticed Blush.

CalamitouslyWrong · 12/12/2013 14:25

In the past few days I've spotted them in Asda, aldi and sainsbury's. I'm pretty sure that I'd find some if I popped down to morrison's too.

They won't be in the chocolate aisle or anywhere you'd think sensible. They'll be in a basket somewhere fairly random in the supermarket.

BitOutOfPractice · 12/12/2013 14:26

Really? They're still everywhere?

Maybe you're right and I wasn't looking in the right place

CalamitouslyWrong · 12/12/2013 14:46

Yes. Try the electrical department or the bleach aisle. Just not anywhere you'd actually think to look for them.

WaitMonkey · 12/12/2013 14:46

I love TurkeySoups idea. Grin

Theonlyoneiknow · 12/12/2013 14:55

Poundland have loads!

SunshineAndPeardrops · 12/12/2013 16:10

Lidl have chocolates for the tree. They come in a bag with a chocolate Santa as well. Lidl chocolate is lovely. I'm not sure how much they are exactly, but they're not that expensive.

insanityscatching · 12/12/2013 16:39

Home bargains have them around here.

Babanouche · 12/12/2013 16:41

Just got some in sainsburys

MrsBennetsEldest · 12/12/2013 16:46

At this late stage?????
My tree is still in the loft. I now feel the need to pull my finger out.

snozzlemaid · 12/12/2013 16:59

Asda had plenty today.

DangerousDorothy · 12/12/2013 18:17

If none are to be found I use the Elizabeth Shaw orange or mint sweets, they are wrapped and all you do is sellotape a loop of gold or any colour thread on to the back and hang them on the tree. I usually have a pack or two of these in reserve to replenish the tree after the kids have been at the chocs plus it's not a sweet we normally have in the house so still feels a bit special iykwim.

Lucylouby · 12/12/2013 19:30

I got some in tesco at the weekend, with the other Christmas chocolate stuff. Cadbury ones were 2 for £4. So we have loads. Although there are 5 of us, so it's not many each really. They also had some of their own brand ones, but the Cadbury purple goes with the colour scheme, so I wanted them. (How sad am I to want to coordinate the chocs to the other decorations!)

BitOutOfPractice · 12/12/2013 19:39

I despise you all and your chocolate bedecked coordinated trees
