Going away for Christmas...where to put the presents?

My family and I are going away for Christmas, to an hotel. DS, dsis and I will be sharing a room and I'm pretty sure there won't be a tree in it. Where do I put the presents? Confused

I suppose I could go and buy a small tree to take with us. Anyone have any better ideas?

What age is your dc?

Ikea have a nice cardboard one.
Or you could make a paper one to tack to wall/card one to lean against wall? ( and a Santa stop here sign for window?).

Would all fit in a "Santa sack"? Seen loads on the high street.

Ah, stockings! Totally forgot about them!!

DS is 11 so is, officially, past the man in the red suit stage but presents out of a suitcase doesn't seem very Christmassy!

Definitely no time (or will) for a trip to ikea but I might mention it to my ikea-loving friend. She might offer to go for me Grin

When I finally get the decorations out, I will hopefully find something suitable to arrange the presents around.

I looked through brochure for a local hotel, a couple of years ago and for the bargain price of £80 they would put a tree in your room for you. £80 Shock
