Religious, secular, traditional, or just plain odd or unusual?

We have let the angel retire and have a felt owl this year.

WinterWinds · 08/12/2013 19:49

We have a big velvet bow on the living room tree, and we had a sparkly snowflake on the dining room tree.
But that fell apart so now we have one of dd's dress up plastic tiara's from when she was about 3.

MyFabulousBoys · 08/12/2013 19:58

A beautiful bird-of-paradise-sequel bird. In purples and red.

A family of reindeer with all our names on, and 2013 on. It's dds first Christmas, and mine and DPs 3rd but the first we have been allowed to see his dds for. I wanted everyone to be included, and felt it needed marking. I was careful for all our names to be used and not Daddy and Mummy for the adults. I think it's fab

Lizzylou · 09/12/2013 07:25

That is lovely Pinkbear Xmas Smile
We have a chubby naked Angel on one, which we have every year. On the other a glittery gold star.

BobCrotchstitch · 09/12/2013 07:41

We have an angel that DS made in nursery (he is 9 now!) It has a laminated photo of his head and gold doiley wings and it makes me laugh every time I see it.
He is campaigning vigorously to put a star on top as apparently the DSAngel is "lame" but I am standing firm for this year at least Xmas Grin

curiousgeorgie · 09/12/2013 11:19

I have a star in the living room, a gingerbread man on the kitchen tree and Woody on the tree in the playroom Grin

Keepthechangeyoufilthyanimal · 09/12/2013 11:36

We have this 'the snowman' character :)
I love the snowman and its part of christmas every year for me…then a few years ago I found him lying on the floor of the warehouse section of the company I worked for all dusty :( I kept him on my desk for a while then took him with me when I left….Can't remember what we had before that, probably a star as I'm not keen on angels etc

D0oinMeCleanin · 09/12/2013 11:43

Ours is going up tonight, the children have theirs up. They both have/will have extremely glittery, homemade cardboard angels. This year they're wearing tinsel dresses, apparently I bought them too much tinsel for their room, so they cut the extra bits up into tiny pieces to spread around their room stick on their angels.

CreamyCooler · 09/12/2013 12:53

Two silver bells ties together with a silver ribbon. It's a few years old from pound land.
