I've just been doing letters to Santa, thankfully my predictions of what they'd ask for were correct ....apart from the 3yo asking for a motorbike Xmas Grin

I asked if she meant a toy one (thinking a pound shop jobby in stocking might do the job)....she means a real motorbike Xmas Hmm Xmas Grin

Hahahaha, nothing funny to add, just laughing at your use of 'jobby' - you're clearly not Scottish.

I am both Scottish and childish.

raisah · 08/12/2013 16:44

Not for Christmas but for his bday next week, my ds has asked for an Lamborghini!
Xmas Shock

ValiumQueen · 08/12/2013 16:57

My DD (7) wants Louis Tomlinson. Not a pic, not a doll, not the music, but the actual person. I said no. Reluctantly Grin

ValiumQueen · 08/12/2013 16:58

I live in Scotland and have made a mental note to never say jobby.

AndHarry · 08/12/2013 17:12

DS wants a fridge full of real food for his toy kitchen Confused I've bought a bag of toy food from Tesco and that will have to do.

lucysmam · 08/12/2013 17:25

oooh, no, does 'jobby' have another meaning Xmas Confused

Xmas Grin

I'm glad mine isn't the only one with erm....random requests!

(my two very occasionally play with dry pasta with their toy cooker....not too much mess to be made with that)

I may be a tad thick here but....who is Louis Tomlinson??? (1d by any chance?)

DD2 wants a fridge so that she can keep her own milk in it, so she won't get into trouble anymore for drinking the last of the milk and not telling anyone. She also wants to keep it her room, so that when she wants milk in the middle of the night, she doesn't have to tip toe downstairs to get it. She'll keep a fruit bowl on top of it, full of bananas for the same reason.

lemontop · 08/12/2013 17:45

Ds wants ice cream. He has already concluded that Santa will just leave it in the freezer.

2gorgeousboys · 08/12/2013 17:59

Last year DS2 asked for a baby sister - funnily enough Santa was unable to provide that particular present. The previous years request for a towel with his name on and pencil sharpener were much easier to sort out!

ValiumQueen · 08/12/2013 18:00

Yes, Louis is from 1D. She loves him and wants to marry him and I wouldn't say no either

AmeliaToppingLovesShopping · 08/12/2013 18:27

11 year old DD1 would also like Louis Tomlinson so i have got her mini figures of them all with a little stage and a key ring of just Louis.

3 year old DD3 would like a girl and boy doll with a pushchair. She has already got girl dolls so i have bought her a boy baby born, that even has a willy, and a stroller, she is going to love it Grin

CarmonEileen · 08/12/2013 20:12

isn't a jobby a poo?? Grin
Dd would like Niall 1D in her stocking. She is getting a tablet with Niall wallpaper Grin Grin Grin

DS once asked for a time machine from Santa. Nothing else because he would just be able to use his time machine to get anything else he wanted apparently. Xmas Hmm

This year he has just requested half the contents of the Argos catalogue, so slightly easier!

lucysmam · 08/12/2013 20:47

oh....I may revise my use of the word "jobby" now!

A time machine would be good....although yes, the contents of the Argos book significantly easier if they're in stock that is

Which reminds me, I need to reserve something for my two in the morning

My DD (2) would like a real tiger and her sister (4) would like a real caravan… not to be fobbed off with imitations my two Hmm

"I think that you should try and make or buy everything on the list but if you can't it's ok. But please try your best."

eandh · 08/12/2013 21:09

Dd2 who is almost 7 yet again requested her baby brother (3rd year in a row !) next on her list was a new mummy (as the new mummy will provide a baby brother apparently) she then decided I was worth keeping so new mummy been taken off but the brother request is still there (doesn't help her best friend requested a baby brother at Christmas and he arrived in july but scan photo was wrapped up for her on Christmas Day!)

santasballsack · 08/12/2013 21:15

A few years ago my 4 yo dd told my dm she wanted a handbag to keep her cigarettes in like mummies bad parent it stopped me smoking almist immediately!

AlohaMama · 08/12/2013 23:14

Ds (2.8) wants a Christmas tree, a reindeer, and "a cake that can find spider webs". I have asked him the same question numerous times and he's fixed on those three. Does Argos stock those???

hardbeingme · 08/12/2013 23:21

dd (5) doesn't know what she wants but apparently father christmas got her loads of nice things last year so is happy to leave it to him.

Am of course pleased she liked last years stuff but slightly miffed he gets all the credit feel like dressing up in fc costume only to do big 'it was me all along' reveal but i won't (sigh)

mintberry · 08/12/2013 23:31
