Where to buy vintage coloured LED lights??

I have a set of lovely coloured lights (not LED but very small bulbs) which are nice vintage tones of pink and orange and red and green. Can't stand the bright whiites and ice blue colours which seeme to be all the shops sell these days. My lovely set are done, more than 50% of the bulbs are gone and the whole set needs replacing. Didn't realise this until putting the tree up last night and had to go out this morning to get lights before the small people had a riot. Spent £40 on 480 warm white lights (preferable to bright white or modern coloured ones) and they are just shit. I'd've been as well just putting the decs on the tree with no lights for all the cosy Christmassy glow that comes from them. Xmas Sad

I'm really trying to keep perspective.........it's only a chuffing Christmas tree and there are plenty of other things in life to worry about, but seriously I hate my tree, it's just like a dark corner of the room now. Hate it. Stressing about other things too and think the tree has tipped me over the edge.

Does anyone know of anywhere that sells nice warm toned vintage sort of coloured lights? Not the big glass types of my youth, just LED's or small bulbed lights but not in ice blue or garish bright colours a la asda/homemade/B&Q etc etc.

I realise I'm being pathetic, but grateful for a nudge in right direction.

Xmas Smile

Can't help on coloured but I've found the cheapy Asda value clear ones aren't as harsh or cold as the expensive ones - they're just not as bright and a yellowy colour, which I prefer, and then just put more on. Lovely warm glow.

And I don't think you're being pathetic!

Try vintage style Noma lights from Amazon.

Or these much cheaper. Like the ones we used to have when I was a kid in the 70s.

less fussy perhaps?

Oh wow wildstrawberryplace - we used to have that second set when I was a kid in the 70s too! Takes me right back Smile

Sorry I can't help you OP - I've been looking for a multicoloured set too as I hate the LED things, esp. the blue ones which should be banned forthwith imo - but thanks for starting this thread Smile

B&M soft glow

These ones are really nice I saw them on display in the shop. They are not in your face like the normal LED's.
I have them in the warm white, I bought two sets as I like lots of lights and they do look really nice.

I have no useful tips just my commiserations.

I brought four different warm glow sets from Ikea, different ones, some long some short and they are as bright as a fucking kitchen strip light......grrrrr
