Present for my 73yo aunt

My aunt is single, no dcs, very independently minded but generous to others. Hates a fuss. I would like to get her something nice for Christmas but...

She has a major problem with clutter and would not want any ornaments or pictures.
She has a massive backlog of books to read, she wouldn't want those either as she feels a bit overwhelmed by them!
She isn't able to be very physically active, she has had some falls recently.
Due to the falls she isn't keen to go out much e.g. for afternoon tea, she has cancelled lunch a couple of times recently.
She has NO interest in clothes, skincare, pampering etc. She cuts her own hair by choice and doesn't wear make-up or jewellery.

Any suggestions would be very, very much appreciated!

Something edible or drinkable then. Does she have a favourite type of tipple or enjoy nice chocolates?

My Nan is very similar to what you have described!
So we have got:

nice hankies
padded coat hangers (again, v nice and boxed)
harrods jam (a fave but obviously a treat)
one of those nice paper blocks as she is forever writing notes

other ideas:
nice key ring
a nice Xmas dec- sounds strange but my mum got a harrods hanging bear and loves getting him out every year
socks!

hope this helps!

Thanks everyone, some great ideas here, much appreciated.
I think a hamper (of biscuits mainly..), nice paper, christmas decoration, diffuser, cosy socks and keyring will all go on the list!

How about a magazine subscription to arrive weekly/monthly throughout the year? Easy to pick up and put down and less overwhelming than books!
