Apologies if this had already been done.
We arent keen on turkey in this house. Its my third year of doing christmas dinner myself (rather than going to my parents house) i am not the best chef in the world! First year we did pork and apple sauce. Second year we did beef and yorkshire puddings. Both went pretty well. So feeling a bit more brave this year!!
Looking for inspiration. Lamb?, goose? Maybe even a seafood recipe. Does anyone have any recipes they could share?

A friend of mine is away for Christmas so we had a get together yesterday. We had roast chicken, roast potatoes, carrots, brussels, cauliflower cheese, yorkshire pudding, stuffing, pigs in blankets, bread sauce and gravy. If i had that on Christmas day i would be more than happy it was delicious!

We are at my mum this year and having turkey i think.

We are having roast chicken, as it's just DH and I. He's not a fan of turkey and I will eat it but we'd rather have good large free range chicken for less money and do exciting dinners with the leftovers. We don't miss turkey at all!

We used to have an Indian take away and all the familyloved it. However for the last 4 years we have been out for Christmas Dinner.

Beef Wellington - not cooked it before and am hoping it'll quite straightforward.
