Sticking Up Christmas Decorations - on painted walls

Hi,

Ok - I bought the "Command - Damage Free Hanging tags" - and have done a trial run.. I was hoping to put up a silver blingy Stags Head and two other "pegs" so that I can hang the Christmas cards between the Stags Head and the pegs on the wall this year....

..... but the trial one has taken off the paint on the wall (luckily low down where no-one can see) but I was confident that there would be no-damage.

I had assured my partner that it would be OK and I would test it first before committing to the main wall - but now I am stalling... it's not OK as the place where I tried the demo will need "touching up"..

Has anybody any suggestion on what I could use instead ??

Used these often - they always take the paint off so I just touch-up after christmas. (I haven't found an alternative that leaves paint intact.)

Oh no, I've been merrily sticking command hooks up all day and didn't think to try a test one....Blush

I do remember seeing instructions about quite a specific way of removing them, is that what you did and the paint still came off?

Oh and they seemed like such a great idea, how annoying.

Sorry no help but I sympathise Sad
