I can't get to stores to browse them. Looking online but can't decide what is good and not. I want to spend less than £100 but ideally under £80. No bigger than 6ft, pre lit is ok, want it as bushy as possible!!! Not snow covered etc.

Sorry, I posted to soon. I meant to finish by asking where you got yours from, how much and are you happy with it?

I'm wondering similar!

Argos 7ft luxury tree or something it's £29.99 reduced from 69.99

ThedementedPenguin · 05/12/2013 17:21

We got the luxury Christmas tree from Argos. It is 7foot but there's a 6 foot version it's very good.

NoUseForAName · 05/12/2013 17:21

Just seen no taller than 6 ft- they do it in 6ft too!

Is it a good tree 'nouse? I am a bit cautious of being just because it's in a sale as we did this one year, maybe even two years in a row and it was shocking.

Oh deemented is that the same one that is reduced? That would be great if it looks good.

Yea we got it for £29.99. Was a bit unsure but it is very good. I'm not at home at the minute but I'll be home in about half an hour I could post a picture if you like.

I would really recommend it.

NoUseForAName · 05/12/2013 17:27

It's fab we got one almost identical when we bought our first house 8 years ago from Argos and this is just as good. Nice and bushy and sturdy none of my kids have managed to pull it over yet!

PavlovtheCat · 05/12/2013 17:32

Oh dyes please for a photo, as reviews are very mixed. We got one last year, maybe year before which had a broken base and I can't remember if we bit it from Argos. Hope it is not the same one! But, there is enough time to buy it and take it back if it's broken...

there should be a pic of mine up on my profile now. If I have done it right. Its not as bushy as it should be as I had to jiggle the back a bit to fit it in the gap

I got one from Tesco last year for £35 I think and it's gorgeous! Very fluffy and has conkers on it.

ZombieBelle · 05/12/2013 18:10

i got a nice one from the range for £15 :)

ARealPickle · 05/12/2013 19:57

Oh Chinley really? I don't want lots of space between leaves. Lights optional. Don't want any thing b else though like colours or fixed decorations.

Might go to tesco and range then. Thing with argos is you can t see it up.

Anything else I look for? I've never had a plastic one before!

stickysausages · 05/12/2013 20:02

We have a home base one, tis lovely

snappybadger · 05/12/2013 20:07

I bought this one in October when it was £58, but it's now £76 I think. It's very good, pretty life-like and busy. Looks good: www.christmastreeworld.co.uk/the-6ft-mountain-pine-tree.html

dillite · 05/12/2013 20:12

Here's the one that I've got. It looks lovely in real life. I can't find any of the last years photos of our tree to show, but believe me, it's very fluffy

Tesco tree

Kbear · 05/12/2013 20:30

homebase trees are half price

tea4two4three · 05/12/2013 20:46

I got a fake tree for the first time ever last yr simply because the cost of a real one was becoming unjustifiable. I only did it on the proviso that it looked well and truly fake...so we got a pink one! I love it! It makes me smile every time I look at it. Got it from a website called festive lights. Highly recommended and under £100.

PavlovtheCat · 05/12/2013 20:57

Aw love that tesco one, out of stock. Grr.
