Something doing-y for a 7 yr old girl?

I'm feeling uninspired for presents for my dd.

I've got her books, a jewellery making kit, a jigsaw and amongst the presents I know she's getting from other people are various arty things and lots of Monster High.

I feel she needs something a bit active. Could be indoor or outdoor (although we don't have a garden). She has all the usual - bike, scooter, roller-skates, hula hoops, Wii Just Dance.

I don't even really know what I mean, it's just that with all her things so far, I imagine her sitting down.

Any suggestions? Up to about £30?

Wii, sports or resorts are doing-y
You might get a second hand Wii balance board and software.

It's worth the full price to see DH as a flying chicken (I think it's a resorts game. you stand on the balance board and flap your arms, to land accurately on platforms)

We've actually got quite a lot of games and the balance board for the Wii (thanks to a games-loving dh) so I have seen all my family flapping like chickens! I'm rubbish at it. Could it be the bingo wings holding me back? Smile

I liked the look of the wobble deck (check Amazon) which a few people on here have recommended, and almost bought that for my DD. She asked for skipping rope, so I'm buying that instead as a stocking filler.

I don't know about bingo wings, but DD2 sets up the hiring mushrooms with your arse and gobbledygook ones on purpose to laugh at my ample rear.

hitting

and Hoola hoop (sorry Kindle fire has a totally insane spell checker)

Lolo ball or similar? I had one at that age and loved it. It was very doing-y.

Just came on to suggest Lolo ball - or bungee bouncer? Big elastic for playing with a friend? Portable swing ball? Stilts?

Pogo stick. Or a space hopper.

My 7 year old likes cooking/baking, theres lots of nice baking kits in the shops and chocolate making kits.

How about bopit ? or the wobble board thingy (cant remember what its called but have bought it for dd1).

wobble deck

Wobble deck looks excellent. I've never heard of that. And it looks like something we could all do. Thanks everyone.

We have something very like the lolo ball already (a zoingo boingo!) but I might get her one of those skip balls for her stocking.

Marne - cooking stuff is a good idea but we do that quite a lot already.
Starbb - I don't think I've ever had to hit a mushroom with any part of my body (intrigued) but I have had to admit that I'll never look like that girl in her pants when I'm hula hooping!
