She's a free reader and loves reading. We have lots of books but I thought she would enjoy a magazine sub too. Do you have any ideas? Thanks!

National Geographic do a children's magazine. Dd loves it. RSPB also do children's magazines, but I think my dc prefer NG.

There's a news magazine that my eldest used to get, until he grew out of it. I can't remember the name! I hope another poster will suggest it, as I want to subscribe sgain for my 7yo youngest.

I came on to suggest NG Kids too!

Earlier on, on another thread, a poster mentioned junior membership to the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution).

It's called Stormforce, and only costs £7.50. You get 4 magazines a year, and the pack includes lots of goodies - pencil tin with stuff inside, membership badge, bag etc.

Here's a link

I'm getting my 6 year old niece Adventure Box magazine subscription for Christmas. It looks perfect, lots of stories.

Thanks for all the ideas. I'm off to google them now!

My DD started buying a small animal magazine in Sainsburys,
I'm going to buy her a subscription for that.
