Ok my brain is fried , im not feeling well have loads to do this week . I cannot decide what to get for my nephew aged 2.

My budget is only about £15, would prefer no plastic tat. He like cars , trains, singing and dancing.

We got a huge brio-ish train set in the Works, years ago mind-you, but was about that price IIRC and my girls play with it often Smile

mymatemax · 03/12/2013 16:36

noisy instruments of some kind.

Ragwort · 03/12/2013 16:38

Please ask the parents, my DS was given shed loads of crap unwanted presents when he was younger; 90% of ended up going to charity shops. I would have preferred the money for his savings account Grin.

Wooden Tool Kit £6.99

gamerchick · 03/12/2013 16:49

I was going to say those wooden train sets. Mine loves them because they're chunky and he can take it apart and put it together himself when he pleases.

How about a wow toy? We've got the fire engine and I've bought the digger for DS and Danny's dive adventure (bath toy) for DD for Xmas.

DC are 2 and 3.5 yrs.

fuzzpig · 03/12/2013 17:47

this if he doesn't already have a road track

Doitnicelyplease · 03/12/2013 18:47

How about some nice animal/dino etc figures, Schelich (sp) or Papo. They are played with all the time here and are very good quality.

mamathechicken · 03/12/2013 19:58

Thank you everyone , ideas very much appreciated i was going to get the road track ..but he has one. I did ask my sis what to get she left it to me..but she would more than likely hit with a noisy instrument. !

My two have a box full of musical stuff we've added to since dd1 was a baby (now nearly seven), that comes out often too & bits and bobs to add (if they wanted to) could be added reasonably cheaply Xmas Smile

He has a train set i do Love the books, i think i might opt for those as i hate wasting money on things that are just thrown on 'the pile' and forgotton about. Thanks again

Duplo number train or dinosaur figures. Amazon for the first, ELC/Tiger for the second.
