What to get a 10 year old girl (it's for charity)

Every year I buy a gift for a child who otherwise wouldn't get anything. I don't have any children so clueless. I know nothing about her likes or dislikes, just that my gift is likely to be her only gift.

Please could you suggest something a ten year old little girl would love.

Thank you!

nail varnish?

A few bits from Claires

Actually how much are you spending?

And I have been known to go to shopping centres on a Saturday and ask teenagers their opinion.

Probably around £25 but would be happy to go a little higher if it were something specific.

My DD would love: A stocking full of bits and pieces, individually wrapped. Nail varnish, lip gloss, bath/ shower gel, small lego friends set, a book, a notepad/ drawing book and pens/ pencils, gloves, scarf, socks, an umbrella, craft kits, cross stitch etc, chocolates. Not expensive, but pretty or cute things, from Primark, the Range etc.

Or if one big gift, lego friends, a cheap MP3 player with a gift card to download music, craft making kit.
