I am doing a lot of regifting this year because I have just moved house. With all the money I have saved I want to donate to a charity in the name of the person that I am giving the present to. I want everyone in each family household to have a different one though ideally. What charities can people recommend please?

Slightly different, but www.lendwithcare.org is a non-profit making microfinance organisation, you can get lend small amounts to entrepreneurs in developing countries or get gift vouchers so the people you are giving to can choose who to support.

Oxfam do lots, at various prices. I used to provide books to a school in Mozambique for DD's teacher, and I have given an educate a girl in Kenya gift as a baby's christening present. I have been given lots of Oxfam goats! You get a card to give to the recipient, with details of the gift inside. I think you can buy them in Oxfam shops, as well as online.

Or you could sponsor an animal at a zoo, if they are animal lovers.

RNLI do "lifesaving gifts", so you can buy things like a pair of boots for a crew member etc. They have a website you can buy these from.
