Deals on decorations and lights at the moment?

DS is 4 and it's our first Xmas in the uk in 3 years, I really want to make it special for him. (As I'm sure everyone does really!)
I'm on maternity leave so budget is tighter than usually though. I've checked tesco, homebase etc for deals on decorations and lights but haven't really found any bargains.

Any ideas? Thank you!

if you have a pouind land near you id check them out, they have some nice little things in.

you could always make a day of it, take lo to choose one special decoration thats a bit pricy. (£4 for one dec is pricey to me any way lol) then as the years go by your have some lovely ones to.

Charity shops are a good place to look for cheap decorations.

Lidl had some packs of baubles last week which were quite reasonable, but I can't remember the price. Pound stretcher also have reasonably prices large packs of baubles and a variety of lights under £15 with some less than £10.

sainsburys had 1/3 off decorations last week-i got some cute little clip on robins for 2.50.

Wilkos has free delivery until midnight tonight. They're usually good value on Christmas stuff.

I was in Sainsburys today and noticed that they have theirs at half price including trees.

Wilkinson is the place if you have one near by...lots of choice and good paper decs...other places selling the paper snow flakes for about 6 quid each, a pound in there.
